The year end is fast approaching and that got me wondering....what was the best film you saw this year?
I only ventured out to the cinema once and that was to see ‘A Star Was Born’. Enjoyed the film with both GaGa and Bradley Cooper impressing, however I suspect I might have missed better films.
What should I have seen?

BlacKkKlansman and A Quiet Place. Sorry To Bother You was good, also. Annihilation was quite good. It has been a poor year for films altogether, though, compared with recent years. All the Oscar bait will be coming out in the next few weeks and months so there's that to look forward to.

Only been to the cinema twice this year, venom, which despite it's bad reviews was actually a really good film and the new fantastic beasts film, bit of a slow starter but ended really well leaving me excited for the 3rd installment
Hopefully I'll get Bohemian Rhapsody in before the end if the year

Thought First Man was very good, but it might be a bit slow for some.

First man was good but a bit of a slow burner, too much shaky camera work and brooding close ups to make it a must watch again movie for me.
Saw Bohemian Rhapsody this week and thoroughly enjoyed it, despite some factual inaccuracies and an abundant use of artistic licence it's still a film I would pay to watch again at the cinema.

A Star Is Born is the winner for me so far this year and I've lost count of the number of times I've been to the cinema this year
