"can we change things, how can we change it"

I know, play the same team again and again and again. His team selections and tactics contradict everything he says

Sorry Sean but the fear factor comes from your own negative approach to games, instructions and team selections.
Maximise indeed, starting by having shots at goal and maximise your midfield in January.

No problem with his comments really and hope he can turn things around (though I'm not convinced from what I've seen of late).

I really couldn't stand hearing the latest string of post-match cliches.

The players are probably scared to pass the ball or take any kind of a risk because all they have drilled into them at Gawthorpe all week is framework, keep your shape at all costs etc etc.

Empty rhetoric,Sean. I consider myself fairly well educated but if I had to summarise what has just been said I would find it quite difficult. I haven't seen any of the game so I cannot comment on it but from what I have read on here from those who have witnessed it it's been a desperately poor afternoon's viewing. We are, always have been and always will be a small club but that bond that he helped form within now appears to be in real danger of crumbling. His repetition of his theme regarding 'maximising'(6 times was it?) suggested to me a man in trouble.

With his 5 year deal Dyche and his family are made for life. He probably also realises he's never going to get a job at a bigger club so Burnley is the peak for him. Has Dyche got the same motivation as when he first came?

To be honest I think todays post match interview was the 1st time I have not been uplifted after a defeat. Dyche sounded deflated and didnt seem to know how to put it right.

Eye of the tiger? Is he actually taking the **** now?

His ego has outgrown a club like Burnley, and there's only one way you're going after that.

Eye of the Tiger?

I wondered what that big poultry truck was doing outside Gawthorpe

A tactical adjustment and a bit of chase the chicken training might be just what the lads need to turn things around.

Then again, maybe a bit of support "through thick and thin" from us fans might do more good than the whinning claptrap that has littered the boards of late.

We aren't looking great at the moment, the team obviously recongise that, but they don't need the added pressure of every man and his dog on their back 24/7.

If their performance has been below what is expected that pales besides our current performance as supporters, which has been pitiful this season. Constructive criticism is one thing, but all these Dyche out threads are another thing entirely.

I'm with Indigo on this one. I honestly believe that we still have the time and talent to turn things around, but if the **** hits the fan and we do go down Sean and the lads will get the same support from me in the Championship, because thats what it means to be a supporter.

Dyche is a good talker, just covering over the cracks and he does it very well.

I agree, he's probably learnt all the spin from conversations with Alistair Cambell.

Risin' up, back on the street
Did my time, took my chances WOODS DOESN'T
Went the distance, now I'm back on my feet
Just a man and his will to survive DYCHE CLINGING ON
So many times, it happens too fast SPEED WHAT'S THAT?
You trade your passion for glory NEITHER FOR US
Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive TRY TELLING THE DEFENCE THAT
It's the eye of the tiger, it's the thrill of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge of our rival PALACE DIDN'T NOTICE OUR FIGHT
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night LENNON STILL RUNNING AIMLESSLY EYES CLISED
And he's watchin' us all with the eye of the tiger HMMM DOESN'T SOUND LIKE VOKES
Face to face, out in the heat
Hangin' tough, stayin' hungry NOT HENDRICK THEN
They stack the odds 'till we take to the street
For the kill with the skill to survive THAT NOT US THEN
It's the eye of the tiger, it's the dream of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
And he's watchin' us all with the eye of the tiger
Risin' up, straight to the top
Had the guts, got the glory EARLY LAST SEASON MAYBE
Went the distance, now I'm not gonna stop
Just a man and his will to survive DYCHES FRAMEWORK AGAIN

You cannot say the same thing continually because it gets lost. The players are no longer responding to an old message

Pretty honest interview from SD I thought.

He also looks drained.
