I think both have earned a start on Saturday. It’s gritty performances like they put in today which inspire the crowd and the team

Thought Brady was immense, Bardsley just what we needed...just brilliant.

Bardsley was well up for the fight. And Barnes back to his old self. Its exactly that sort of attitude and fight we need right now.

Brady was also pretty good.

Can’t wait for Burnley to play Barnsley with Bardsley and Barnes in the side.

The problem with Bardsley is he is a tackle away from a red card. Please please if he plays Saturday may it not be then.

Love Barnes so his performance was no surprise to me. Bardsley always been solid back up but he was tremendous last night. Showed a lot of fight.

Both were really good last night. Brady was also excellent. He’s been protective over himself since he’s been back, but last night was back to himself. He must have been given the “man up” chat by Dyche.

Really pleased with that performance overall, and with a little more luck we’d have had a draw.

The two B's set the tone early on in respect of tackles and communication. I noted it was Barnes sorting out the defensive line when they got a free kick in the first half. They're on field captains and we need to get them on the pitch to help our recovery at the moment.

Without doubt the best performance I’ve seen from Bardsley, got stuck in and set the tone and also got forward and overlaps JBG.

Ward will never play for Burnley while Charlie Taylor continues to improve.Stephen has been good for us but he is loosing pace with age.
Bardsley is a proper old school defender and my mom last night Bashley was back to his best and they both must start v Brighton.Soft goals to concede though and our midfielders should have closed down Milner to stop goal one and tracked Fiminio for second.Third should have been stopped earlier as the keeper clearly dragged the ball back from out of play.A great game and the scoreline didnt do us justice. To quote the great one "fine margins"

Decent game last night and justified his recall.
Still think Lowts is a better player and Bardsley had some horror shows earlier in the season.
But if he can carry on playing as he did last night, that will be good, I too feel he's susceptible to a red card. I certainly didn't think he should have one last night, but Danny Murphy did on MOTD and looking at in slow motion, one of his sliding challenges was not fully controlled.

I'd start the same team, but pick Vokes for Wood. Brady and Gudmundson are capable of some really decent dead balls and I think Vokes is our best forward to capitalise.

Was pleased to see Wood and Barnes start together. I know Wood didn’t have a great game but he makes other teams have to defend a bit deeper and gives us an ‘out’ ball down the channels so it helps the team. Need to stick with this same forward line against Brighton if we want another good team performance

Barnes and Bards were terrific, they surely have earned their place to start against Brighton, Brady too put a real shift in but was knackered when he went off, i hope SD keeps this line up together.

Barnes always gives his all! I really don't get why he's been slagged off so much on here.
He looks world class compared to the carthorse known as Chris Wood.

Add Westwood to the list of players who added a competitive and combative edge last night. He covered every blade of grass with aggression and he’s also got a good forward pass in him. All three have to start on Saturday.

Bardsley was awesome- I think he was the inspiration for the back four. Got to say Tarks was outstanding too and approaching his best

Barnes plays well in that lone striker role
