Gutted, seen them from the beginning up until very recently, and had been looking for gigs next year. Legend of the punk scene, and influenced many more people over the years.

Potentially go over the heads of many younger posters on here, but please take the time to look up the Buzzcocks, still going strong after 40 years, up until today sadly.

Sad news a real iconic musicial .and top live band saw them support Pearl Jam in early 2000’s they were still good. Their “ ever fallen in love” still sounds as fresh today as it did 40yrs ago

Recently seen them in Bristol. Great nite, great band.

Saw them in Middelton prob 15 years ago now on a retro comeback type gig. Full of old punks, who most, including me (tho I wasn't old) ended up on the floor at least once. Shame to hear

I saw Pete perform once, drop his plectrum and then be that drunk he couldn't pick it up again. After about 30 seconds of comedy genius a stage hand ran on with a spare.
