I’ve commented in the past about how I have suffered with a bad back/shoulders and even to the point of popping morphine tablets to get on the Turf when I could hardly move.

Was out earlier shopping for the last few bits and spotted this in boots which I bought for myself thinking “it’s worth a shot I suppose”.



The best £50 I have ever spent for anybody who suffers with a bad neck/back etc and pays for massages. I have spent A LOT of money over the years for massages and trips to physios and chiropractors - this is up there with anything they have done and saves me having to go out and book an appointment.

If you know anyone it could help or fancy treating yourself I would recommend it hugely - sell them in Boots and also Argos at the same price (£50).

I’ve have it on for about 20 mins - can’t comment on the pain killing effects as my back seems to start seizing up over a few days and then just locks and it is agony. I usually have to get it massaged and start doing stretches all the time to fend off the seizing. I’ve also then paid for hot stone massages which seems to help me more than just a normal massage too. This seems to combine both and will help the seizing up side for me - and the fact it’s heated too is a bonus.

I’m due at the physio tomorrow does this work on trapped nerves?

Hope it works I've had "chronic" back pain...agony and debilitating condition. It was worse in my 30s and 40s not as bad now...partly work related.

I have constant spasms in my lower back which I have had for a good while now.

I just try and use it in problem areas and it is like a hot, deep tissue massage but in just the spots I want it.

I can’t see why it couldn’t work for trapped nerves etc if you could cope with the pain of having it massaged deeply.

(Just a disclaimer that I’m not a medical professional or a sales rep - but I know the pain I have had and the money i have spent so just wanted to share a good bit of kit I found that could potentially help others).

Horrid ain’t it - I always heard people say “you just learn to cope with it” and thought that was silly - until I learnt to just cope with the constant niggle 24/7 that is there.

The spasm had me hospitalised twice...I just couldn't move and struggled to breath.... While out and about.touch wood not happened for a long time. Cold weather doesn't help and I think stress plays a part for whatever reason.spasm in the back not good.

NB - £34.99 delivered on eBay.

I feel your pain (literally) luckily I only had a few really bad episodes where I’ve been bedridden for a few days unable to move til it sorts itself.

I have 2arge marble sized balls which are just spasms in my lower back that won’t shift no matter what and working outside doesn’t help at all in the winter but trying to keep it all “well oiled” helps a lot.

Ok, how long does the product help to keep the spasms at bay vs if you didn't use it at all?

For instance, if you use it for 20 minutes, are you fine for the rest of the day?

Personally I use it at the end of the day and it loosens my back up again which is better for me til the next day as opposed to not using it.
