I'd like to see the linesman market as well. Jokers.

Smith said the defender was entitled to push Long in the box as he was backing in. He wasn't backing in. Long should have done a Ramsey and dived like a dying swan.
As clear a pen as you will see.

None fouls against barnes and vydra who were both in good positions in the box. Ridiculous booking for barnes but not the Greek. Pathetic ref.

Consistency 25/25.

Kevin Friendless

Utterly f@cking useless. He and the rest of his team made damn sure once we had got back into the game there was only going to be one winner from there on in.

Vydra offside when clean through (He was a yard on)
Barnes fouled in the box by Lichstiner (free kick given against Barnes)
Iwobi goal (He's marginally beyond the last man so offside, tother way round it's not given)
Foul on Long in the box by Kolasinac (Not given)
Sokratis elbow Barnes in the back of the head 1st in the tussle which lead to only Barnes being booked.

As useful as t!ts on a fish

This ref like the others when we have played Arsenal was I am sure corrupt all he did was penalise us and somehow missed a clear penalty

Vydra wasn’t offside Lino also bent

I never rate refs, because they've a tough job.

But this one is only consistent in one thing.
Being half-baked in mediocrity.

Great analysis of another thoroughly inept refereeing performance against Arsenal. You also forgot that shocking challenge by Torreira on Westwood. Probably the worst tackle in the game. No yellow.

Dyche was absolutely boiling in that sky interview. I've never seen him dig out official's like that before

LIVID.......... I am absolutely fuming with that. No wonder Dyche was not a happy chappy. I don't always agree with what Sean says but he's every right to be upset. VAR can't come quick enough for me. Let's just hope we're in this division to see how it works.

When the Emirates need him they sing the Carol King song.
"You just call out my name
And you know wherever I am
I'll come running, to help you again
Winter, spring, summer or fall
All you have to do is call
And I'll be there
You've got Kevin Friend "

I have had to go for a walk, in the rain, to calm down.

But it hasn't worked.

Disgraceful performance!

Unfortunately, I can't mark him because I've seen too much back now on the TV. But suffice to say this was a dreadful performance from Friend and both his assistants. They were all absolutely shocking.

Just wondering what the referee " assessors" think and do about these bad performances ?
Or is it just jobs for the boys and turn a blind eye to it all.
I suppose refs don't like condemning a fellow ref.

Utterly shambolic and incompetent. They say referees have a difficult job but in reality the job is nowhere near as difficult as some manage to make it look.

The linesman on the touchline in front of Dyche would have been lucky to get 2s or 3s!

Dermot Gallagher never sides against the ref apart from when he says that the referee couldn’t see the incident. He’s an absolutely pointless addition to the television and I’m surprised Sky haven’t disposed of his services and employed someone who’s not afraid to be critical.

Diabolical performance. Sure he won't suffer any consequences for it though

Officials already sorted for all games up to an including 2 January. Mr Friend is 4th Official at Brighton v Arsenal on Boxing Day and in the middle for Fulham v Huddersfield on 29 December and Cardiff v Spurs on New Year's Day (you can watch him on the telly)
