That's right Steve top of Balladen. He had a spell at Rochdale and he used to get me and dad freebies and drive us over to the odd game. Dad lost touch, last I heard he had a newsagents Heywood way.
Colin certainly didnt take any prisoners as a centre half, if you know what i mean

Think Colin still lives in Heywood. Used to teach his daughter, so met him a number of times both at school and out and about. He was always very pleasant to talk to.

Colin, and most defenders from back in the 60s and 70s couldn't play the game today. They would be constantly banned

Same time here in Kitchener, Ontario as well.

I thought it was a 10:00 am local time kick off too. Got up late, by the time I turned it on, game was into 2nd half, didn’t miss much though!
