Nick Pope, by a distance.

But I don't think he will be.

Surely we have five fit keepers, not three.

At this moment in time, Heaton. With Pope pushing him for the jersey.

It was a joy to see Pope come for that first cross and take it high on his 6yd line.
We’ve missed that.

When was the last time we had 3 different goalkeepers playing in 4 consecutive games?

1991/92 season? From memory we used Pearce, Williams, Marriott, Kendall and Walker that season.

It would be foolish to change the keeper again so soon. Heaton is clearly buzzing to be now back between the sticks and will have no doubt done his morale the world of good. He's played twice recently and we've won both.

I'm very confident that SD will keep Heaton in, and rightly so. But Pope will be there putting pressure on Heaton to perform at his best every game.

I think the next game will tell us more. If it's Pope on the bench, Hart will be 3rd choice.

It's a good job McNeil's header went wide because their keeper was nowhere near it.

Pope is our best keeper, although I suspect he may go this month.

I would sell Pope (reluctantly) in this window, and give Dyche all the fee with maybe another 20 million to secure our place in the greed league this season

Heaton is the slightly better all round keeper far more experienced and a better distributor than Pope ( 1 prem season ) That said Pope is a close 2nd . He should be sold to cash in on the asset but doubt we’ll get mega bucks for a single season keeper with below average “ feet” A promoted club may want him though but pricing keepers has no proper scale perhaps 20 mil would be highly highly optimistic . I’d be more than happy with Pope or Heats though . Hart has done his job very well ( as cover) and needs shipping with those wages .

Nick Pope is cup tied.

Tom Heaton isn't cup tied.

I'm not sure whether Joe Hart is cup tied from being on the bench.

Three England international keepers, all with ambitions for more caps. I can't see how all three will be happy to stay at Burnley. Before the West Ham game Tom Heaton has spoken of needing to go elsewhere to get games. I can't see us letting Tom go.

One way or another the situation needs to be resolved in the next 25 days.

Got to stick with Heaton now until he starts shipping goals, Hart second choice pope for cup games then assess again in a few months

Not convinced another 20 million in the kitty will make us sign anybody we're not already looking at.

Its Heatons shirt until at least summer now. Then reassess.

Heaton until he does anything to deserve dropping, then to our number two (Nick Pope).

Pope for me. They are both superb shot stoppers but Pope reduces the number of opposition chances by coming off his line to collect crosses far more than Heaton. It's an embarrassment of riches but IMO it's vital we keep Pope for his aerial domination. Plus he's younger and a must have if a few of them went as Queen to a fancy dress party

Heaton or Pope by a country mile. So that’s actually 2 fit keepers. Or are you meaning physically fit? If so then we have 3.

Somehow it just feels so much better to have Heaton back between the sticks - and great to have Pope back to full fitness and playing again. Hart has served his purpose now. I will be more than happy to have either Tom or Nick as first choice going forward, and with Tom now back in the first team I think they will both be at the club through this season.

Can't have 3 keepers of their calibre vying for one position if they all maintain fitness. Next season, whatever league we are in, we can't have two of them vying for the same position.

That's the important bit. They might both want to be off if we're in the Championship next term.

Certainly if they both still have England ambitions.

Tom Heaton has the shirt in the League and "His Eminence" Nick Pope should have the Cup matches.

Joe Hart is now on the fringe, he has been OK but as shown by Tom and Nick in the last 2 games his management of his area is inferior for me, and if an offer comes in we shouldn't refuse it.

I wonder if Hart would accept a loan move (if we can't shift him on a perm), purely to get more football? I'm sure some Championship clubs would take him until the end of the season, we can then reassess in the summer.

Pope/Heaton/Hart are all good keepers and I'd probably rate them in that order.

Should be good competition for places, which can only be good for us.

Very surprised if an offer comes in for Hart in the window

Heaton's the present, Pope's the future. We need to find a way to offload Hart and the sooner the better - and that is not going to be easy.

Wouldn't it be fun if the club actually surprised us in a transfer window and signed a marquee signing out of the blue that we hadn't been chasing for a whole month.

Pope our best keeper by a country mile but we really should sell him. 35 million could buy us the outstanding striker we need.
