Now I’ve had a listen to the song again it makes sense, providing there’s another word with 2 syllables in it there. Decent that.

Just listen to the current popular chants from other clubs and copy that fitting his name in!

The last couple of games some morons have been singing ‘he’s one of your own’ when he certainly is not one of our own. He’s about as one of our own as any other Burnley player in the side. It was embarrassing. Anything is better then people singing that.

I agree it's much too early. I would say we need to wait 2 seasons at least. Isn't there some sort of procedure to follow, the leader of the singing section has to approve an application for a new song proposed and seconded? It's based on assessment of recent games ( min. qualification 30 games or something). I think Cricketfield claret will be able to furnish us with the details.

We could always do what loads of fans seem to do now, rob a song from a club in Europe and change the words.
