Long time lurker first time poster.

My dad is on his way down to visit family in Watford but forgot his tickets for the game. Has anybody forgotten to take their away ticket with them to a game and is there anything that can be done?

Forgot mine at Crystal Palace once. Went to ticket office there and explained. Had to purchase another, although they said they would refund, once I followed up with the original ticket detail etc. Still waiting for that refund! I did see the match though.

If you have proof of purchase ring Burnley ticket office and they will sort with Watford.

Raeding were fantastically helpful to me, they had a guy wandering round outside called 'Away Fan Liaison Officer'. Queue jumped us at the ticket window and sorted us in minutes.

He has taken my daughter with him and they are both season ticket holders so there should be a record that they've bought the tickets.

If you phone the ticket office, they should be able to contact Watford and get them to do a reprint for collection at the ground - they usually do that the day before, but you may be lucky. They did it for me at Old Trafford last season, because I couldn’t get to Turf Moor to collect it at the last minute.

Failing that, I’m sure the Watford ticket office will accommodate and help.

Don't forget to send a picture of the original as proof of purchase to your dad.

That's the first thing I'd do. Ultimately it will be Watford who will make the decision, some clubs will help while others won't, but the Burnley ticket office will be able to advise.

If you take photos of the tickets and send the photos to your dad via watts app or email. Watford ticket office should be able to read the bar codes off the photos. Heard someone else had used this method.

I'd like to know how you get on here, and any result ( or not ) you might get.

They probably will be closed! They were when CP tried for my ticket.

This happened to us funnily enough for the Watford game 2/3 years ago. The tickets never arrived in the post, and by the Thurs/Fri our ticket office said that Watford would reprint them and we collected them outside the ground; not at the Watford ticket office but from someone outside the corner of the ground at the away end. Hope you can do the same!

Exactly the same thing happened with me. Both clubs were very helpful and i picked up my ticket on the corner too. From memory i just had to provide my name and the ticket reference number (or it might have been my clarets number) to our ticket office over the phone.

My wife has been to the ticket office today and its now sorted apparently. They'll reprint the tickets at Watford ticket office for my dad when they get there.

Yeah ditto from the Brighton game a few years ago. Lost my ticket from the platform to walking off the train.

Same thing they told me to buy another one and then email me a picture of my tickets and I got reimbursed.....very straight forward so hopefully you won't have anything to worry about
