I must go; my house is on fire. I’d much rather listen to that.

Well I'm interested, it was one of my favourite periods as a Burnley fan, regardless of what was to follow. Thanks for posting.

Without listening to it all does he talk about the night he returned with Bolton in the cup ? One of my favourite games.

Thought it was a good listen. Didn't realise we were under a transfer embargo during his time here

Considering it’s a podcast with him. About him. He’s going to talk about himself.

Really good listen.

Yeah he did the dirty on us but I think some people need to move on, at the end of the day he still got us up there and gave us some good memories; no need to be so resentful - especially given our current position!

Had we gone down, plunged to the depths of the 80s and not come back I would still hate him.

As it happens, in the long run we have ended up way better off than before he joined us. I ALMOST feel sorry for him.

At the end of the day he left for what he thought was a better opportunity and truth be told it was. It just happens that it didnt work out and his career has never recovered. We happened to get a couple of much better managers afterwards and we are way ahead of where bolton are and he is.

Id rather appreciate where we are today than worry about him.

Yes we fell behind on the Chris Eagles instalments.

Coyle was working the “we only want young and hungry players” line when quizzed about transfer activities

Yep, good listen and thanks for posting. The guy is a motormouth and would make a good salesman. However he did extremely well for us before leaving under a cloud... hard to forget but we move on. Actually think after listening to this that he probably regrets leaving when he did.

Good post, and admirable sentiments. I'd like to have written it, 'cos its bang on factually.

Thing is, i'm one of those who WON'T move on. I laugh at his every misfortune, and i'd happily smack his sheepsteeth down his lying neck. Why do I feel like this still? 'Cos he duped me. I like to think i'm a fairly good judge of character, but this fella completely fooled me, and i'm embarrassed to hell about it.

Those of you who can and want to move on, please do so. I don't want to so PLEEEEEEEAAAASE stop telling those of us who won't/can't to do so. I'm happy to still hate the lying ****.

Don't get me wrong, it doesn't rule me. But when he is brought up, he reminds me of what he did, what he said and how he made ME feel.

Owen Coyle can **** off, regardless of the good times we had.

Brilliant listen! Some of my best times watching Burnley were under Coyle.

Excellent. I knew he was lining up Wilshire and bringing in Holden and OC makes it sounds as if the money had run out BUT OC we spent a few million after you left on Fox and Cort so we did have something to spend and you could have had Wilshire and Holden at Burnley as they were loans or Bosman signings.

Considering he is a consummate failure he doesn't half get some publicity.
