There will still be the normal suspects, who seem to enjoy calling Wood a plank. He is our best forward as it stands.

As a big Hart fan and one who felt he was not to blame, its clear with Heaton back in everything has clicked. Coincidence? probably not.

Harsh on Hart. But the most important thing is the club and the results. And with Heaton in, we have gained 11 points in 5 games. Which is pretty much exactly what we had gathered in 19 games with Hart in.

Whatever the reason for the turnaround, long may it continue. And Heaton HAS to stay in goal now.

Well done Tom Heaton and thanks Joe hart for stepping in when we needed him!

The save Heaton perforned point blank after it was ruled offside simultaneously was quite remarkable and another worldie to put one round the post ,

It's nothing to do with disliking Hart. He has been dealt a bad hand, even though I think he could have done a little better in a couple of games.

In the second half when one of their lot had a shot and it went just past the post, Heaton jumped up (from having dived to try and save it) and absolutely b0llocked the players for not closing down quick enough.

I know that he is the captain, but maybe that is where part of the difference is.

Got to be playing himself back into the reckoning for an England recall.
Well done Tom and thanks.

Tom Heaton is superb, he is like a new signing. Class. Southgate will likely have been at the game and no doubt very impressed.

Tom won us a point tonight, just as much as our goalscorers.

Great performance.

TBF Steve .. Jeff has mainly been given stick when he was played out of position.... He has improved a zillion percent now he is playing where he plays best.

Yes he was foolish to have his hand anywhere near the little diving cheat that is Lingard but.... hey ho we take it on the chin and move on.

I agree ... but get behind the Team not just Jeff.

Give the lads an extra cheer for me on Saturday

If it had been Ben or Tarky would they have received the same abuse, (Jeff) I doubt it. Players make mistakes.
I never felt confident when Joe was in goal that he had any organisation/ link up with the defence, unlike Tom.

And in fact had we been given a fairer wind and corrwct refereeing decisions that would be 15 points. Damn and blast to Oliver and Moss.

I was sat with the Manu fans in the Sir Bobby Charlton stand (and by the way you lot in the corner were magnificent...the noise and humour were top notch), the guy next to me was timing every goalkick Tom took and then stood up to show & berate Moss..and then in the same breath said "what a f****** goalkeeper he is..immensely proud of all of them last night..front to back. And yes, well done to Sean and his team...back to doing what they are exceptional at.
