Watching this and its a really good end to end game. Both teams look better than us and wouldnt be surprised to see the pair of them above us in the league this time next year

Leeds had most possession but Norwich have scored 2 beauties on the break

Leeds often do. But they also often concede on the counter. Hull d*cked them with superb counter attacking football.

What I've noticed this season is when Leeds slip up - lose or draw, the rest of the teams closely behind also drop points. Take today - it's looking like Norwich are going to win and go ahead, but yes, shock horror .... WBA mess things up.

This happens every week. That will be why Leeds go up - the rest just aren't competitive enough.

Dirty Leeds ship a third.

Norwich score with fewer chances. Leeds prance about with it and create less.

You mean *beat. But recent weeks, honestly, just look at how the scores have gone. I'm seeing pretty every week that Leeds do badly, the teams around them have dropped points. The other teams don't cause them much harm at all.

Leeds get a goal back.

I know they're a lucky team and I know they get decisions when it matters... but 2 goals in 2-3 minutes? Surely not?

I know what you mean in a wider context but thats the beauty of the Championship as its so topsy turvy. Just though today wasnt a good example of it

Edit: I wondered what you were correcting when you put *beat. You read it as me saying Sheff Utd won WBA not just Sheff Utd won.

Yeah but Boro weren't 5th before the win. If you look at WBA and the goals they score, they're a team much more likely to challenge Leeds - yet they lost, which benefits Leeds. Which goes back to my original point - these are the sort of scores that happen when Leeds lose or draw. They go the best way possible. Annoying.

I still think Leeds will come back and get at least a draw here.

Actually, you might be right in that they were 5th (I didn't check the GD). My point though was that WBA are the team most likely to challenge Leeds (outside Norwich of course) - and they dropped points. And that when Leeds drop points, so too do the teams nearest them.

Yeah, too many beers I think. But I've defnitely noticed over the last few weeks, when Leeds have dropped points, the teams near them have also done. Like you say, you get my point.
