Premier League of Darts returns

Tonight is the first night of the Darts Premier League.
With Gary Anderson withdrawing just a few days ago it seems it's too late to get a replacement in, so they will be having like a "guest" participating at each event. So they'll still have 5 matches for each night. Now it's not quite Bullseye as these guests will be pro dart players, many of whom if you watch the early stages of the TV events you might recognise. It does all seem like a "Bit of Bully" though as these results will actually count for the 9 players appearing every week. With the rankings of these players going from 20 through to 95 it's not exactly a level playing field.
I've stopped going to the these events as the crowds are just ridiculous now, no idea what's going on the oche, too drunk to know the players, too noisy to care. With Gerwyn Price being these as well you can only see it being more raucous in England, and just as bad in Wales.
All kicks off in Newcastle tonight and finishes on May 23rd.
Even with all of the above I suppose it's better than the Europa Cup, said Sean Dyche.
