Amazing really that we haven’t pulled a bit further clear of the relegation zone given that tally.

I think today's bit of luck with Hendrick balances out a bit of the other stuff.

Had it been 2-1 instead of 3-0 we could have lost all three points.

I said after the Everton game that we should give Dyche the next 2 games and if we pick up nowt, pot him.

Dyche has turned the ship around and we are now sailing into port

Fair play to Dyche. We looked very stale before but Heaton, Bardsley and McNeil have made a huge difference along with an upturn in form from Westwood and Taylor.

Look a completely different side but we have to keep this run going as long as we can. Four wins from here and we are safe I think, especially if two of them are against one of palace, Cardiff or Newcastle.

Never doubt the ginger genius!

It’s just a real shame that Cardiff and Southampton have hit form at the exact same time as us.

Only 6 points behind Everton and 10 clear of Fulham. Aim for a top 10 finish from here.

agreed but lowton was awful prior to bardsley stepping in....once we sealed the leaks at the back it allowed us to try mcneil so we could be more offensive and every thing else has just fallen into place....our standard has risen from less than mediocre to better than good...Heaton has been world class in 2019 and maybe due to the pressure from pope and hart....utc.

We were quite lucky to beat Fulham and last night we definitely had the rub of the green in terms of decisions. It doesn't work like that, you can't cherry pick every retrospective incident and spin it to your favour to add points. Ask any fan of any club, they will probably say they should have far more points than they have.

Wish we could play the Everton home match again tomorrow! Scoreline would probably be totally reversed!!!

I will give you last night, but we deserved to beat Fulham, refereeing decisions still owe us 4 points from Utd and Watford.

It's a bit over optimistic to think that we are as good as our current form position. You need to look at who we've played as well. That said, a lot of the bottom group have been playing each other so it's not just us that have a tough run-in.

There's a few down the bottom that have had awful fixtures of late. While we have picked up 15 from 7, which has seen us clear huddersfield and leave Fulham 10 points behind, we still have to stay ahead of one of the others. Southampton and Cardiff have had it pretty easy since Xmas so will still be deep in there. Newcastle particularly have somehow picked up a point per game in their last 7 but played all of the top 5.

We're not owed anything. Even Sean Dyche says these things even out over a season. Since the dawn of time referees have made mistakes, and on balance over a 38 game season you end up where you deserve to end up.

To even things out, by definition we need some more luck with decisions, we are still in deficit as Dyche would say himself, so yes we are owed something.

The results started improving with the introduction of Heaton, McNeil and Bardsley.

Dyche started to change things prior to the Everton defeat. He started tinkering with the formation against Liverpool, we went to Spurs and were unlucky to concede in the last minute, then we got tonked off Everton.

What he did was be more positive, he let the shackles off Taylor and told him to get forward and link up with McNeil. Both full backs now push up and try and get balls into the box, our goal rally supports this.

Wood is a far better player than Vokes and he just needed game time. Wood and Barnes are now looking a formidable striking pair.

Lets not forget Cork, Hendrick and Westwood who now look different players than before Xmas. Hendrick now looks like he belongs dropping back into a wide midfield role

It sounds as if you're trying to make your two game ultimatum for Dyche not look as as moronic as it was..................

It wasn't moronic. Dyche had to change things and he did, if he hadn't we were looking nailed on for relegation.

I honestly think player power changed Dyches pre Xmas negative tactics, and made him set the team out more positively

Extremely moronic to doubt Dyche in the first place. He, if anybody, was always going to turn it round. He needed a few injuries to clear up, McNeil to be ready, Heaton to be absolutely gagging for it and away we'd go. Just another two games and you'd have kicked him out. Class.

Damn right, LL. Amazing how - according to the experts - Wood, Bardsley and Hendrick too aren't rubbish any more................

Still, they reckon we had a lousy transfer window by not coughing up nigh on £20 mill for Che Adams so they've still plenty to keep them happy.

And there were many critical of our transfer window saying our rivals had made quality signings.

Then you look at those signings and most have never heard of them.

I was struggling to see how we were still in it, but despite the bloody excellent run, we've only won 2 of the last 5 games.
So have Cardiff, Newcastle and Southampton. It's frightening to think where we'd be if we hadn't had such a good run.
27 pts is good, and I can't see Huddersfield or Fulham getting to 30, so there's only one spot up for grabs. Brighton are the ones with a problem, they were saying before the match what a hard run they have coming up, especially away from home, and that picking up results against the likes of us was vital.

No predictions, just one game at a time.

I'm happy to have yesterday's three points taken away as long as we get back the six we have had taken off us in the last three matches.

I'd include Hendrick in that list. He's been outstanding recently.
