Half empty stadium, Boro score on 20 mins.

It's been all Boro since the kick off. The natives are getting restless, not that there are many there to get restless. Shame.

Half empty?
I think your being a tad generous there. Before the match they announced the crowd changes to the team!

Triple substitution for Rovers at half time.

Boro hit the bar with a twenty yarder.

I'm not watching the game but the stats suggest Boro are battering them.

I thought the red card was touch and go. Definitely a foul and a card but he couldve got away with a yellow on another day. Defenders who get the wrong side of attackers and have to make despairing tackles to save the situation cant complain too much.
Borough were well on top playing v 11 so should wrap this up. Until they get a 2nd, though, Rovers have a hope.

The last time they lost four on the bounce, a certain Owen Coyle was in charge. It gets better with every game.

Interesting attendance, was that the number of empty seats in each stand? There was hardly anyone there.

Anyway, that restored my faith, they were downright dreadful.

Rovers fans do make me laugh though. Talk to any Blackburn fan and they'll talk about history. They won't mention anything about the here and now.

Those sat in the Blackburn End got some excitement close to the end when they actually got a shot at goal. Didn't think Middlesbrough were very good but were much the better side.

A shame Boro aren't good enough to challenge the top 2. I'd sooner they came up than Leeds.

Theres one of the B'stard Trolls that frequents the Lancashire Blackburnegraph pages who all he can mention is Burnley in the 4th Division and B'stards winning the Prem.... one 35 years ago and the other 24 years ago....
Lets face it there is a generation of Rovers fans that havent seen Premier League Football and a generation of Clarets that don't know anything other than Championship and Premier League...

Its all a matter of perspective.
I for one had some great away days in the 3rd tier of Football (as I only came back to watching footy in the early 90's) and the Fat stunted cupid cannot understand why we are not ashamed of our history......

I am thoroughly enjoying rubbing the Fat B'stards nose in their current losing run.

Oh frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!" He chortled in his joy

When was that then? How old are you?

They the Blackburn fans talk only of their bought success last century. Whwn did they actually live on their own earnings. Prior to JW's money they couldn't afford to pay the electricity bill.

1,052 there from Boro. Certainly less than 10,000 B'stard fans .

To those taking the p1ss out of Blackburn's attendance, what do you think we would have got in a similar situation?

Irrelevant....the point is we wouldn't have claimed to have 4 or to 5k more than the true figure.

I was at a bit of a loose end yesterday given the lack of glamour fixtures on offer so I watched them lot down the road, two hours of my life I won't get back. Boro weren't much better either.

Our second season back in the Championship in 2003 didn't have Boro in it, so I looked at something similar, Rotherham, 14,000 on for that game.
Or Grimsby, 18,000. Same weekend in 2002 we had 15K v Forest. 13k vs Birmingham on a Tuesday night.

Specifically against Boro, 2011 in the Championship we had 14500 on (first time we'd played them in the league at Turf Moor for over 16 years).

Think we hold up pretty well.
