A reminder that part of Manchester Road is currently closed, so this will have an impact on getting in and out of Burnley town centre tomorrow (unless you're on foot or travel by bicycle of course!).

Shut at "The Inn on the Wharf" pub, so no access through from.the round about towards Wetherspoons and visa versa.
Tho k you can still get from Parliment street through towards the courts though.
It was ( today anyway ) literally just no through traffic past the pub.
Stick 15 more minutes on your journey times I'd say

Yes, it's the stretch of Manchester Road from the traffic lights of the junction with Finsley Gate up to the junction with Healey Wood Road.

They are removing an old gas main that is attached to the bridge and needs heavy lift equipment. Just hope someone ensures it is cleared first, there have been enough fires lately!

Surely would have made more sense to do this outside of the football season and in the longer school holidays.

You'll struggle Tim the canal has been shut for months from Findsley Gate to near the footbridge at bottom of Healey Wood as he redevelopments progress!

I’m biking it in. I reckon I’ll beat the traffic.

Always wondered why not better transport arrangements on matchdays e.g. Shuttle bus from say Aircelle car park or free bus travel to match like all the German clubs for ticket holders

Unfortunately compared with Germany we are a third World Country in a number of ways including transport IMO.
