Off all the moves this seems the best fit for the player.
Hart will not want to be seen to make the step down to the Championship.
He still has the name recognition from City and international days which MLS values.
Where ever he goes will wish him luck.

Perfect place for him, no pressure and no media spotlight on him and earning gazillions as he winds down in the sunshine.

It’s potentially a good way out for both parties.

Yes, hopefully we can move him on soon. But even if we do I struggle to see how we will keep Pope unfortunately.

Hart to depart,
He played his part,
Now struggles for a start.

Poor Pope,
He ain't no dope,
He stays, I hope.

Tom Heaton,
Just can't be beaten,
He England's No.1.

;)

I don't get all the flak for Hart, he came and joined up when we were a bit stuffed for keepers.he helped us out.

I saw very few goals conceded [any ?] that were directly due to Joe Hart.

His relationship with the back four players in match, is different to the way that Heaton goes about it, I get that.

The Hart Haters will get what they want, and at some point Pope will leave, too good to be a bench-warmer for Burnley FC - he will go to a Top 10 club and we will be left with [wonderful] Tom Heaton, who is no spring chicken.

Three England keepers quickly down to one.

For Tom, it's like the 'John West' Ad... It's the Keepers that Sean rejects that makes Tom the best ! It is not just his saves that make Tom No.1 It's his defensive organisation and respect that he has from the 'back 10' ;)

I think it's the dandruff........Idiot yourself!
Oh and he stands rooted to his goal line, let's in all kinds of shots from outside the box....flaps at crosses like a fanny!
And just doesn't look like a Burnley player. Is that enough for you?.....Fecking idiot!

Harts done nowt wrong whilst here. Played well, even tho he shipped a few at times. Pulled off some great saves for us.

If the “problem” with our performances was to do with the rest of the lads wanting Tom back in, then shame on them. They should be professional enough to get on with things, and if they are not, then I expect the management team to deal with it accordingly. Fail to see how Joe Hart can be blamed for the rest getting a mardy on.

Signing Joe Hart when we did was an absolute no brainer. One of the better recruitment decisions we have made recently. Had we not done so, the board of directors and the management team would’ve been ripped a new one on here.

A short term loan at the time would have been understandable. Don’t recall many postings on here over the summer over us signing a new keeper when it was appararent Heaton was going to be fit for the start of the season.

A short term loan would not have seen joe hart here.

Who do you suggest would’ve come? In my opinion, no one better than what we already had at the club.

How do you motivate someone to come to Burnley when they know as soon as either Heaton or Pope is fit, they go back on the bench?

Going into the season, with no obviously fit first team goalkeeper, would’ve been like not strengthening the midfield when we had the chance, then getting caught out with a Marney-esque injury. The club did well with this imho.

I'd say he failed to adequately organise his back line in the same way that Heaton has

I’d say that responsibility lies with tarks and/or Mee.

I know I’m taking it to an extreme, but the defence (whole team) doing badly because the goalkeeper isn’t telling them where to be and what to do just doesn’t sit right with me.

Bob you need to read the article highlighted by Crispy. It tells you all you need to know about the difference between the two keepers and their effect on the back line.

At Man City Hart didn't have to organise the back line as he was playing behind Kompany. Much as I love Ben Mee VK is on another level.
