It's that time of year again when the good folk of Ireland descend on the gorgeous Cotswold course of Cheltenham for the four day festival.

I will run our normal nap league and usual rules apply.

For any newcomers they are as follows:

Enter yourself plus and family / friends onto this thread before 1.30pm Tuesday.

Choose one horse in each of the seven races per day from Tuesday to Friday.

You will start with a virtual +- £0.00

For every losing horse you will be deducted a £1.00 and for every winning horse you will be added the starting price.

Each day mark one horse as your 'Nap' and if that horse wins the starting price will double.

Please post all of your selections in advance of 1.30pm each day and I will post a league table each night.

Non runners will be classed as losers to be fair to those not able to keep track of racing during the day and replace entries.

This is free to enter to fans of any club (even Lincoln) and a £20 bet to the winner.

The going is already soft in places with rain forecast so expect big priced winners.

"Royal Ascot starts tomorrow at 2.30pm and there are six races each day up to and including Saturday.

I will do a Nap league based on the same rules as normal.

ty .....steves new horse is running again tonight ..LION HEARTED.....hes struck gold this time ,only paid a few grand ,4 i think and has won 4 on the spin withought coming off the bridle,theres four of them involved in it ,they bought 4 in total ,one was 28k and its shite!! ......lion hearted is up 14 lbs in weight but mick appleby the trainer really fancies it again .......

Fair play to him Paul. We have laid out a few quid over the years buying horses and this one looks to be the best of the bunch although I reckon Bahamas would have gone on to be a good chaser had our Wetherby curse not struck.

An extra 14 pounds to carry is a massive ask but will be interesting to see how good it is.
