Who on earth decides the times to put sales live. Saturday at 3pm when we’re kicking off against Leicester is just bizarre.

It is like they don’t want our support!

This has to be a wind up . The release of tickets during a game can only have been thought up by a Agent of Blackburn Rovers!

The only reason I’ve ever come up with as to why they do this is to ensure the tickets go on sale at a time when those most likely to be purchasing them won’t all jump on at the very moment they go on sale and possibly crash the system.

It’s unlikely everyone will log on at 4:45pm or even 5pm, it’ll be more piecemeal after the game, but frankly other than that, I’m at a complete loss as to why they do it.

This is further exacerbated by the dreadful signal in the ground meaning you can’t even buy them at half time!!! I started the process of buying Liverpool tickets at half time during the Palace game and it was about 4:15pm before the transaction completed.

The time of sale is nothing short of a p*** take. I am not one to criticise the club left right and centre over every petty thing, but who on Earth decides that 3.00 when a home game is about to kick off is a good time? Some reasoning/explanation would be helpful as their may well be a legitimate reason which we can't see, but I'm struggling to find it. (And as already mentioned, it has become something of a pattern with recent ticket sales!)

Given the Saturday 3pm is only for season ticket holders with over 6000 points I don't think they will sell out before sales to 4000 point season ticket holders commence on the Monday afternoon. If you can't get one during those 50 hours then heaven help you if you had one of the lower amounts as they only get 24hrs before the next point level down kicks in!

Any idea when the tickets would go on sale on the Foundation number - Im presuming Monday morning?

When Deirdre Barlow who remembers to answer the phone in the Foundation Bar it will be around Thursday afternoon and the allocation of tickets will have gone to the members who probably normally receive them. Allegedly.

They go on sale when the 4000 points number kicks in but you won't get one on the phone.

Is this likely to sell out? I’m hoping to get 2 in the general sale.

just complete madness. The release times are getting more and more outrageous

Hard to say really. Going off our away followings this season I'd say you'd be OK but Bournemouth is a game where plenty of people will have planned on making a weekend of it.

Was actually quite tempted by this, with direct flights to Bournemouth (Yeah, i know) but not sure i'd risk it with the dates

I'd like to think you are right. If the government see their citizens being mistreated in the UK i think it could get awkward pretty bloody quickly

Whatever became of the supporters ticket liasion group consisting of about 25 individuals which was set up about 2 years ago.

Just by way of balance... called on Tuesday (24 hours after the tickets went on sale) ...phone answered after 4 rings... bought 2 tickets... all very professional and helpful!

Faded into non-existence.

Had to wait until Monday to get the 4 needed as 2 aren't on the 6000 threshold. Good job we are having a bad season and the points weren't re -set

If it works this way the booking reference on the for 4 tickets I got were all numbered 1 after another in the low 500's this was 5pm on Monday

You’re making it up. I tried to buy five on Friday but was restricted to four and so I bought three and told Dermot that he’d have to get his own. He’s landing at Bournemouth Airport at 11(he hopes) and reckons that he’ll make it by kickoff.

I bought 2 yesterday just before lunch.

We were allocatedaround 1200, great effort if they've all gone, although it is a massive game, 1 of very few left you could argue we can get something from.

I fancied us to sell out for this tbh. Not a massive allocation and although a long way it's quite an attractive game to make a weekend of it.

I just put the maximum 9 in the 4 age ranges and it placed 36 in my basket. I then removed them and went on my merry way.

Yes, the sold out has been replaced by general sale

I put the 9 in the 4 options and it told me that I had exceeded the 24 available.

Southern games that I have attended in the past have all been full of southern based Clarets. Games like this would of been snapped up by them.
