I do that, but then I contact the takeaway directly as they pretty much always charge less than ordering via Just Eat and I pay cash on delivery.

Good Fortune is about as good as it gets around here.
The problem is with most Chinkys now is that around 15/20 years ago they must have all got together and said, why are we bothering making things taste different when we can make everything taste the same. It must have been around the time they all started putting chilli in Beef and Green Pepper in Blackbean sauce.
You really have to get something a bit hot and spicy for any flavour or oooommph these days.

Another here who uses Good Fortune regularly. It's excellent, but we always drive to pick it up and when they say "ready in 10 minutes" they actually mean about 8 and a half so don't hang about!

Since double Dragon ( padiham ) changed hands I've really been struggling. It really was the best around.
Burnley oriental
Oriental ( near marks and sparks )
Fu yung Rosegrove
P.o. Sang Rosehill
all tried.
Po Sang was the better of the 4, but don't deliver.
All I want is warm, fresh , tasty food.
Not luke warm frozen food merely warmed up/deep fried
( I've been told wah wang in Hapton is very good and deliver, so it's next on my hit list )

None.
Why can’t they just make the effort and use proper meat and natural colours and flavourings.

I think most of us know that it is MSG driven (which is why it mostly all tastes the same). You can tell with how shiny the food and sauce is.
But what do you mean 'proper meat'?
I'm pretty sure they use 'proper meat'.

The owners of Double Dragon took over a Chinese in Rose Grove but I'm not sure what it's called.

Had a Good Fortune tonight at the girlfriend's house, good portions and very reasonably priced. Used to get Wing Fa, they are pretty good but more expensive than Good Fortune.
Both do liver.

If you like ribs and/or salt and pepper chicken wings, then Wing Fa is the only place to go.
Still done proper.

Are you absolutely sure of this.
Do you know if they took the chef with them?
If possible I'd love if you could find out the name of their new place for me please.
Double Dragon now has had a complete overhaul of chef, ingredients and quality, there's no way any of the previous people are still there.
It's rank bad, I through mine In the bin, and for anyone who knows me, that's a big sign it is truly awful.

Can anyone recommend the place at Read on Whalley Road? Went there once about 5 years ago and thought it was decent. It’s my wife’s birthday today and as she’s been so kind (more tolerating) me going to the game, the least I can do is provide a good nosh up after the match.

Quite a few of their regulars have said they have moved to Home on lowerhouse lane. From Padiham community site on FB, who now all go there.

The chicken always tastes like it’s been bulked up with water!
