Just whiling away some time and caught myself thinking how much are we worth?
Well, the players that is.

Probably more than we've ever been is my conclusion.

We have 3 players that could (if sold in the summer) fetch 20m+ Tarks, Wood and McNeil.
We have another four or five who I think could fetch 10m+ Taylor, Vydra, Pope, Mee and Gibson. Possibly add another to those - Barnes .
Possibly two or three of those might get nearer 15m - Taylor, Pope and Gibson
And the rest Lowton, Hendrick, Westwood, Cork, Brady, JBG, Long between 5 - 10m.

At a conservative estimate I'd say 160m+

Admittedly most of those valuations might decrease in time but one or two could increase.
Could see McNeil fetching close to 25m if he has another good season with is.

We've money in the bank, have another year (at least) in the Premiership.
Apart from transfer fees we've not much to have to spend unless we decide to get a new stadium
or improve the existing one. We've got a brand new training ground.

At times we play some decent football.
Well, at least since the 5-1 drubbing we got at home to Everton.

Things are looking as good as we could have hoped for, me thinks.

Most of those under 50 can safely say we are well aware we have never had it so good... and you can even go back to Coyle’s time to when we thought it. We’d only ever been on the brink of bankruptcy in my entire time watching, and several times much closer than the brink. As for the players, I do not want us to sell so values are irrelevant. To be frank it is far beyond anything I dare dream for most of my life.

Reported in todays Sunday Express that Spuds are looking to move Tripps on in the summer ... and they are looking for a starting bid of £40,000,000 yes thats FORTY million squiddlies bloody hell (hope we had a sell on clause)

The good thing is that collectively, they are worth 40 plus points and much more on a good day and season.

Cannot see anyone paying £10m for Vydra!

£15m for a 33 year old keeper? 5m for Hart? 10m for a 29 year old right back who hasn’t been a regular for us this season? Nobody would pay anything for Bardsley or Lennon. Some strange numbers there.
