Anybody read any of the books ? Just about to start 'What goes on tour'.

Is it any good and is the footballers Dave Kitson ?

Think popluar belief is that it is indeed Kitson, however from memory of other posts I think it is debatable as there are a couple of facts that don't quite match up with his career, but can't fully remember and never read it / them.

I read 'What Goes On Tour' during a recent flight, having read the first one years ago (also on a flight). It's ok but I'm not sure how much more can be squeezed out of the concept, although some of the stories were quite interesting. Especially a bit about how lower league footballers try and keep up with the Premier League lot during the summer holidays but often come unstuck financially during the attempt.

Given the details revealed by the author they should be identifiable with enough research. I can't be arsed doing it personally but Dave Kitson sounds about right from a quick Google.
