I am looking to buy one either new or second hand. Is there anywhere local to nelson/colne/burnley where I could have a look at one. Prefer not to buy off internet unless someone can definitely recommend a particular trolley from a company. cheers.

They have them in most of the golf pro shops now - Townley do.
That said you will probably pay a premium compared to buying it online.
American Golf near Heaton Park would be a good place for you to visit to look at them and also cheaper than the pro shops.

There is a golf trolley manufacturer in barrowford (pasture lane). They repaired my trolley there a couple of years ago and the service was excellent.

Go and see Niall up at Nelson - he will try and match internet prices. Failing that, as a previous poster said, Greenhill golf trolleys on Pasture lane in Barrowford make some good stuff and I'm pretty sure you can tip up and have a look at their range.

Renault sell them...you can even drive it home!
