Out of contract and Newcastle letting him leave. Think he would improve our squad. He would add some strength to the middle. What does everyone else think

I think Diame is a good midfielder with lots of Premier League experience. I also think he'd add something to the team with his big, powerful technique.
At 31 is he a little too old though? A younger version of Diame would be preferable actually this summer, although younger would probably mean more expensive.
And why are Newcastle allowing him to leave? I'd have thought he'd be one to keep hold of.

Can't get some of the people fawning over Mooy. Is he really that good. From what I have seen he is average at best and I believe Udders fans say he isn't consistent at all?

I don't get the appeal of Mooy either...doesn't make mistakes.....doesn't ever seem to do anything brilliant....bit of a "meh" player....don't we already have 2 of those in our midfield anyway?

3yrs ago I'd have loved him here but probably past his best now. The type of midfielder we need for sure

A lot depends on age. If a player is not too old we can buy him and improve him. Like we did with Tarks,Westwood,Taylor, Pope etc . Many of our players have just improved under our training . Even players like Bardsley have upped their game.
We cannot compete in the market for most proven premiership players. Our game is signing potential and I hope thats what we carry on doing. utc.
