Best of luck to him, always gave 100% in a Claret shirt, not short on quality either. That goal v Man City will last long in the memory

Very good player for us. Underrated by many.
Not only that a top bloke. Typical of the sort of character Dyche likes to sign.

He was superb when at Peterborough often playing in a more central and forward playing midfield role. I'm sure he'll be a great signing for them.

A decent equaliser in 3 all draw at Newcastle too.

That's nonsense.

He earned his money with us making 115 League appearances out of a possible 122 games.
He was very much a vital cog in our Championship winning team and was not just a runner, however, it is all about opinions and the manager obviously realised his value to the team because he kept picking him!
I wish him well back at Peterborough and I hope that he has a successful season after his injury problems at Wednesday.

Ran a lot, not much else is quite a positive comment from Murger.

One of the more obvious summer moves...right up there with Jagielka back to Sheff Utd.
Good luck to him. Always gave 100% and was a key player for us in our championship winning team. An honest pro with underrated ability - a bit like David Jones.

Massive part in where we are now.
Hope he does well there.

Put the winner against Stoke away well in the 1-0 at the Turf at the back end of the 2016/17 season.
Think that was his last goal for us.
Very decent player, I thought.

George Boyd was tremendous for us and his long leg, wrapped around an opponent, to touch the ball away, saved us many times and broke up attacking moves.
He never, never gave up, until the whistle blew and his lungs must be twice the size of everyone else's, except Scott Arfield!
He will be a superstar at Posh. Good luck George.
A wee story, my new partner came to watch Burnley and had a season ticket, with me. She doesn't like crowds, so that was an issue, although she got over it at Turf Moor, because we sat in the same seat, with the sane folk!
It was several matches in when she said, "Where's Boydy? He's the one I know! I asked how come. "Well because of the crowd, I don't wear my distance glasses....and he's the only one I can recognise, as the rest are a bit blurred!"
She wore them shortly after, so no problem. Just shows you how important his height and hair was!

Some wonderful memories of George. He only seemed to score screamers; City at home, MK Dons at home and away.
However, my favourite memory of him in Claret and Blue is the way he smartly drew out the foul from that lummox Duffy to win us the penalty. The look on Duffy’s face was worth the admission alone that day.

If you look at the majority of goals from 14/15 and 15/16 seasons, George Boyd is more often than not the first player there celebrating with the goalscorer, a true team player.

Good signing at that level,he'll be a great inspiration for their aspiring youngsters,Posh must be a dark horse for automatic promotion, just missed out on the play-offs last season, they are usually thereabouts every year, yet they can't make the final jump.
Best of luck to Boydy hope he can finish his career on a high,he's only 33 so could easily have another 2/3 years in the tank yet.
