"We’re not dragging our heels when it comes to making our stadium more accessible"
"The progress that Burnley is making in the way of accessibility is very impressive; this level of thought and care should be embraced by football clubs all over the UK"
Aren't we two years overdue with these facilities? Still good to finally get it done and it wasn't cheap so well done BFC

I know this going to sound brutal but will such facilities ever recoup their investment?

Probably not in direct terms Hipper, but its a requirement of being in the PL so indirectly certainly yes. Got to keep those sweat TV monies coming in.

Would you really expect them to ?
I'd be interested to hear your ideas of making such facilities profitable.

Its not about recouping investment in disabled facilities hipper m8...
God forbid I or any friend of mine is in need of facilities like this, but if I/we ever did, its good to know that BFC is doing something to facilitate them REGARDLESS of cost.

Given that it would be illegal without and ignoring the legal cost of defending prosecution and the ensuing fines - the authorities could potentially close the ground if they wanted too - so on that basis yes as it allows us to keep in operation

No. In pure business terms it is not a project you would choose to do. The cost against the number of people using it is not good business sense at all.
But it is something we needed to do and something we had to do. Maybe we could have constructed a cheaper option but rightly we have gone for what I’m told are impressive facilities.

That comment is a load of tosh really. Let’s face it the club was more than happy to stick wheelchair users in the rain for years. We have had the brass to build these stands for years. We have done it because we had to do something.
However fair play for not going for the cheap option.
