If you can think of one, sure.
It sounds like he was deliberately targeted though.

Really?
Should he just shrug his shoulders and say "whatever" ?
Is that what you'd do? Or are you so hard that you'd have stayed and taken them all on?

Because he says they made a 'direct beeline' for him (as opposed, presumably, to one of those circuitous beelines which made them famous)? Is that the extent of the 'sounds like'?

Only an idiot would feel they could leave out "violent right wing thug" because they had covered that with "brexiteer". Yes. You. Idiot.

Because I leave the process of investigation to those who are in a position to know the facts? Because I don't take what is, on the face of it, an appalling attack on someone and make it fit my political narrative? Because I don't conflate "Remainers" and leftwing violence just to suit my view? Are those the kind of things signalling "not right" to you?

Who said I had a political narrative? Certainly not me. No more than I have a pro-gay narrative. I don't have either agenda.

" HE REALLY DOES BRING IT ALL ON HIMSELF "
I can't believe I read that .He is not my cup of tea either ( too far left ) BUT its a sad commentary on the state of this place when you go for a drink with your mates then get set on by four nutters...anybody who thinks there is any way in which this kind of behaviour can be condoned...no matter who perpetrates it...has got serious problems.

1 Right-wing extremist. Because, only when you live so far down a f***tard wormhole of bias and stupidity have you covered off that possibility by saying 'brexiteer'.
2 Random attack
3 Ex-lover
4 Spurned suitor
5 Internecine left wing argument grudge holder
6 Gang he got on the wrong side of through community activism
7 Heavies to whom he owes money
8 Somebody who just doesn't like the cut of his jib
9 Zionist
10 Mistaken identity

Maybe he (the Brexit hater) should try and live in one of the EU countries like Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria etc, and see what the far right and homosexual hating is really like.

Foreverly Claret, he probably mouthed off to them. Highly unlikely they started on him for no reason. We know how much of smart mouth he has. This time it looks like he's picked on the wrong targets. We also know how he likes to play the victim for attention. Lads, he really is dispicable and it was only a matter of time before he needed to get back in the spotlight. Guys a waste of space imo.

As far as i can tell from the far-right (on here and on Twitter) they seem to think that throwing a milkshake at a far-right politician is more serious than kicking a left-wing journalist in the head.

Define “journalist”.
I, for instance, wouldn’t be wholly opposed to someone kicking Kelvin McKenzie in the head (or the testicles, either one really). Or Katie Hopkins.

First of all no one deserves to be kicked in the head for having a differing political view.
I do have some issues with how it has been reported though, Owen Jones strongly believes that the attackers were right wing thugs? What makes him so sure? Either something else has gone on previously or he’s being opportunistic trying to tarnish people who he see’s as his opponents.

He's being opportunistic, bud. He's built a living out of it. He's a 'commentator', essentially a hanger on. He needs these incidents to stay in the spotlight. It's his lifeblood. So you can rest assured he is DEFINITELY playing this up for max effect
