5 of us off to Rhodes in October and flying out of Liverpool JL airport.
Anyone used a private transfer service from Burnley they could recommend and roughly what the price might be for return transfers?

Good luck at Rhodes airport which is undergoing refurbishment at the moment and is a living nightmare for delays or was last Sunday when we returned from there.

Yeah was reading some posts about delays at Rhodes airport on the Tripadvisor forum, seems it can be ok or a nightmare depending what day/time you land/take off.
Nowt much we can do about it now though, flights are booked so we'll just have to hope for the best and 'Easyjet' live up to their name

Be nothing between 5 of you to drive and park, assuming it’s 5 mates and not a family.

We were only there for a few hours LC so can't really say.
We'd been to a wedding at a hotel in Stoneycombe the day/night before so just headed straight to the pub in NA at noon to watch the match and kill a few hours before the train back 'oop north' at 4pm (which was delayed 50 mins just to add to the disappointment of the Clarets defeat)

Depending on your flight time, get the train. We did it a few months ago and it was really easy.

It is a family (4 adults, 1 child) GWW
Parking was only about £55 for one car but not sure we'd be able to manage in just one with all the luggage etc.
Other issue is the flight back is due to get in about 2am Sunday morning so going to be a bit knackered after a long day, if we can get a return transfer at a reasonable price might be more convenient to let someone else do the driving (means I can have a coupe of G&T's on the flight back as well)
Just exploring all options at the moment.

Consider the hotel across the road from the airport, Hampton/ Hilton. We got a decent deal on a one night plus long stay parking.

Think it was £40 when I last used them for LPL airport. Always been great service and never had a problem with them.
It’s the Accrington Max cabs and not the Burnley one that do the transfers

If you're arriving back at your UK airport in the wee small hours, its hit and miss whether Max Cabs will be waiting,
even if you've provided them with all the relevant flight info.
You may have to give em a ring to tell them you've arrived.
At least that's my experience of them.

Same as me - used them about 10 times for return journeys in past year between myself and family and never had a problem once. Only confusion sometimes is where they are when you land but if you call the number it puts you straight through to the driver and easily sorted.

Absolute ******** of a statement.
Many times this summer we have had calls to pick folk up at the airport after being let down by max cabs. Not only that, this summer has been the busiest ever for us for Airport transfer bookings,Be it Manny,Liverpool or Leeds.
Also, only last night four lads were let down by max cabs. They had dropped them off at creamfields festival but wouldn't go back for them even though they had booked the return.
