Just finished watching this and really enjoyed it. Didn't realise at first it was filmed in Bacup until I spotted Bacup Baths in the background. Apart from Juliet Bravo, Brassic and League of Gentlemen - has anything else been filmed in Bacup? - it seems to fit the bill as a gritty working class forgotten Lancashire town.

Think it has gone downhill from E1. Decent watch but was previewed as a comedy. The first one was the next two have been far more drama with a couple of funnies to fill it out. Hoping for more laughs in future.

Watched the first one and whilst the novelty of it being filmed in Bacup and the Lancashire theme kept me watching I can’t help but think if it’d been set anywhere else I’d have turned it off.

The plots are pretty weak and there’s loads of bits nicked from other comedies.
But there’s been some very funny scenes and enough good lines to make it well watchable.

Any series which starts with Michelle Keegan asking a bloke to “ finish on my t1ts” is always worth a watch imo.
It’s pretty decent, some funny lines ,some good characters too,the doctor is brilliant .Its not very original and it’s no early shameless , but still defo worth a watch .

Watched the first couple. More of the same, really. Plots are a bit thin but the dialogue and slapstick is pretty funny.
