Going to spending 4 nights in Seville next week. Does anyone have any recommendations for what to see in the city? Cheers.

It's extremely hot up there at the moment so don't expect to do too much walking about during the day. The Giralda, Cathedral etc are all easy to get to. The old town with its many reastaurants, tapas bars, cafes etc is always interesting, so you can get some great Spaniah food there and watch the world go by. But I repeat it is hot at the moment.

Vino blanco beat me to it, but I was going to say. Take a sun hat, lots of sunscreen, and plenty of liquids: and don't go out between about 10.00 a.m. and 4.00p.m. and you'll really enjoy it.
It's actually a fantastic city. One of my favourites, but there's a reason why most of the locals vacate it in August.
The area around the Cathedral and Royal Alcazar is one of the most interesting and fascinating in Europe IMO.

Whilst it is hot the streets in Seville generally have a lot of shade and air conditioning in all the buildings so don’t worry. Obviously the cathedral tower ( la Giralda). Wander the streets further than where the tourists are and find places. Seville is great - enjoy

Had 4 full days their, last November, and it wasn’t enough. Loved it.
Real Alcazar & Cathedral, go up the tower for city wide views.
Plaza de Espana. Great buskers and you can have a row, with oars, if you fancy.
The bull ring.
Triana district.
Take in a flamenco show.

Great city to visit lots to do and see. One piece of advice “check your bill when in Seville”
the restaurants particularly in the cathedral area seem to have a habit of adding ghost items to your bill. It happened to us in two restaurants and usually amounts to a few euros so be prepared to query. Considering how busy these places are it may be a genuine mistake but we weren’t the only ones and on the flip side over the day it would amount to a lot of unearned revenue. One of the things we really enjoyed was the walking tour which is run by locals who can give you a great insight into the city-enjoy.

Day trip to Cordoba if you get the chance, beautiful city. It's about 30 minutes on a high speed train from Seville.

If we're talking day trips then you really can't beat the Alhambra at Granada. (Architecturally stunning and much more impressive than the one at Bradford!)

I went on a Tapas food tour when I was there one evening which was pretty good.

Real Betis are playing at home on the Saturday if you're there. La Liga matches are fun.

Excellent advice. We went a few years ago and went out for a couple of drinks. The waiter asked if we would like some cheese. We thought he was offering it as tapas so we said yes. When the bill came they had added ten Euros on for the cheese, cheeky buggers. I wouldn't have minded so much if the cheese was good, but it wasn't and the bread had been hanging around so long it was like a rock!
