Says in Belgian press that club and player have agreed to terminate the contract with immediate effect. Indeed looks like he's on his way back to Belgium

Two seasons ago on the train back to MK from an away game at Watford I was chatting to other Burnley supporters
And 4 out of a group of 6 and 2 saying nothing said that Stephen Defour was the best player they had ever seen playing for Burnley

Shame we didn’t have more from him but it was a risk we were happy to take, when we signed him. Best of luck to him - hopefully he can have a good injury free run.

unfortunately there were not enough days, but when Defour was on key, he was the best I had seen where our shirt, in my generation, but he has been stealing a wage for too long so wish him well for the future. Best goal was v Utd for me.
