Great that they have a reduced offer to armed forces personnel.
Nice touch.

I'd say Villa have given us the upper tier, and a deadline by which we need to let them know if we want the rest in the lower tier. With their support I'm guessing there'll be big demand from their own fans.

Option to increase to 3000 depending on sales.

They wouldn't put away fans in the upper tier if there was a chance of home fans then being in the lower tier.

Good to hear. Would have struggled to get a ticket if we only take 1,500

Would someone please explain why members of the armed forces have a reduction of £10 on the ticket price.

Guess it's a little bit of a thank you for those serving their/our country. Quite a few leisure centres offer free or concession rates to them as well.

Possibly to make up for the fact that they get **** poor pay and post employment treatment by the government.

I don't usually go to away games, but this one is fairly local for me. Just a question for those who attend away games regularly. Is it suitable for children who are quite small, seven years old. I remember a couple of seasons ago at West Brom when everyone was standing and children wouldn't have been able to see. Any advice on this?

Hard to say and would depend on just where your seats were. Youngsters do attend away games and whilst standing can be an issue, by standing on their seat they can usually see. Or if it's not a sell out, moving to an empty seat area could be an option.

As we probably don't have 1500 people who have 6000+ points, then I'd say no. And even if we did we'd then be taking a further 1500 allocxation.

There will be more than 1500 with 6000 surely given they set points higher than 6000 for Aberdeen away

Do you have a contact for them? As we (Accy Clarets) are fully booked but I've got loads of people still asking for seats?

PS - Is it the Burnley Supporters Club that you've booked on with?

Mate got our 2 tickets online on Saturday, looking forward to it as never been to Villa Park.

8.05 train from Burnley to Preston and (Virgin Trains permitting) in Birmingham for 11 am to take in the cultural, historical and architectural highlights of the city (or maybe just a few pubs) ;-)

Got ours on Saturday. Normally drive but getting the train.

How easy/hard is it to get to and from the ground from the city centre? Looks a long walk.

It'd be a fair walk I imagine. In the past I've hopped on the train.

Tony never had issues before, but can see this selling out. Do you know how it works getting a ticket for a child? The Mrs and I have enough points but at 7 yrs old its only his second season ticket so he won't have many points. Can we just get his with ours? Or do we have to wait until tickets go on general sale?
Thanks

I think you have to wait. Might be worth asking though.

Not many left apparently.
I purchased two a few minutes ago and was told “ I think they’ve all gone.....oh we have just a few left”
Get in quick if you can.

Until they get the upper tier, and then they'll be about 1.5k left.

Yes and hopefully we’ll take them. I would think we’d sell 3k for Villa.

Do we have any idea how well these are selling and if we are asking for upper tier?

I could order ours now, but I’d prefer to wait for upper tier if we are getting them

You would think that we should be able to clear the initial 1500 allocation but even if we do it doesn't necessarily follow that the club will then take the extra 1500. Presumeably that will depend on whether they will have to pay for the full extra 1500 even if they don't sell them and if that is the case the club will need to consider just how many of the 1500 they think that they will sell. If I were you to be sure of not missing out I'd get your tickets now. It's better to be in the lower tier than miss out.

If it's right that we've nearly sold the first lot already then surely we'll take the rest. Risking a few unsold tickets is better than ******* off over a thousand of your own supporters who end up missing out.

What day/time did you buy?

Will they sell back row first and then down or the other way round?
