I thought he was class, he made the odd mistake and as soon as he did 2-3 around me jumped up and blasted him. You’ll get it anywhere but some folk just don’t understand football

He’s been a key player in our establishment as a Premier League side. He’s 27, and hasn’t yet hit the sweet-spot of his career.
I do hope he signs another deal for us.

Excellent allround show. Wasn’t as good when he came on the left but that’s never been his position. He’s our Paul Madeley and would do a job without complaining anywhere.
Get him signed up quick.

We havent managed to sign anyone better than him in the last 2 years in any position so if we cant get a new deal sorted its a bit worrying

Brilliant game, a bit of everything from him. Makes a big difference when we actually play a bit on the floor.

What a shift he put in today! I thought he was integral to the win with his movement, vision, control and passing. Outstanding performance!

I think everyone knows I’m a Hendrick fan but brilliant to see the reception he got when he came off today.
TallPaul has said it, we always seem to play better with him in the side.

I wouldn’t lay some of the superlatives, in this thread, on his performance today, though he certainly had a good game.
After some poor displays, Pieters was very good today although I’d have given MOM to Westwood.

Yep played well, especially first 20 minutes.
Got caught out for their move where they hit the post, but it's great to see him trying to influence the game.

As everyone knows I'm Jeff's biggest fan...
He gave the ball away quite a lot, but in the final 3rd mainly, but had a good game though.
Tried to make things happen, and you could see the confidence coming back.
Well done Jeff, keep it up

Pieters, Hendrick, McNeil, Wood all conders for MoM for me . .. Ash was kept quiet but had that volley gone in the roof would have come off.
Great 3 points against a good footballing side today.

If we don't give him another we are losing a fantastic footballer ....come on Dyche give him another 3 years.

Not his no 1 fan but happy to be his no 1 fan today. More of the same. The newest underrated Scott Arfield type player we have. Starts next match for me no matter who is fit.

Hendrick excellent. Energetic and really useful with the ball. Westwood similar and good to see McNeil back to his best.
Excellent all round performance.

Wouldn't mind seeing him and Westwood as the two CMs. Thought Westwood was outstanding as well today, real terrier and good distribution.

Best I’ve seen him play he was really up for it, sure it wasn’t Ronaldo-esque but he tried to force the game and he fully deserved the ovation , could Jeff end up a cult hero ?

He played well as there were two of him..anybody else notice he was named in the starting 11, and on the subs bench on the big screen before the game..

Probably one of the best games I’ve seen Hendrick play for us.
He was at least the third best of our midfield four today, which is a definite improvement. Long may it continue Sir Jeff.

He was very good.
He looks a far better fit for us when he's played as a wide midfielder.
Hope he signs a new deal as well

Far too good for that.
Jeffs biggest problem hasn't been of his making... fair play to him for getting himself where he is now DESPITE being continually let down by those who make the decisions. Early doors he may as well have been played at centre half.
Good player, extremely versatile and an absolute team player when played in a position he's familiar with. In the centre or on the right, he's been excellent.
MoM today, and despite Woods two goals, MoM by some considerable margin.

Never understood the criticism of Hendrick. Given the current group at our disposal he's definitely the ideal starter on the right and no coincidence that we played our way out of trouble with him in that role last season.
He's in great shape and everything Sean says about him suggests he is a first class professional. If we were to let him leave we not only have to find a player of a similar age with similar attributes - we have to come up with the £20M plus to sign him.
If he's enjoying it here he'll stay and I'm sure we want to keep him.

Produced a performance today entirely in keeping with the form he's shown throughout 2019. Excellent.
Been one of our best players for months now and deservedly back in the team today. Our best performances tend to come when he's in the team.

No, I just like this new Jeff who is trying to get involved in everything. To impress.
Chances are he could go back to hiding in games and playing everything safe once a contract is secured.
Keep him hungry and lively.

Not normally a huge fan but he was excellent today. Possibly the best game I’ve seen him play for us. Deserved the applause and really hope he can keep that kind of performance up.
