Car attempted breakin

While at the match yersterday, i parked at my usual spot, which is across from the 110 club in the yard behind the church, paid 5 pound, sorry don’t know the name of the church.
Came back must be in excess of a few grand of damage to the car, just a word of caution i certainly won’t use that car park again, its a pity as the money goes to the church.
If any body saw anything or can shed some light it would be helpful.

A few grand of damage?
Did they take all the doors off it or something?

To be fair I had my car keyed by someone and it was all around the entirety of the car, a single, deep, long scratch. Quoted literally thousands for repair as it was per panel which is almost £600 or so each.
Sorry to hear that Amex, hope you are able to recover something back from insurance.

F**kers.
Biggest pet peeve paying for parking. Especially when they aren’t liable for damage or theft on their land.

Usually a couple of volunteers who collect your payment on entry but not sure if they remain there throughout.

It is watched by the Almighty Himself. Sadly, he was having a pint or two across the road in the KSC. He likes to pop in there when the Match is on, before it gets busy.
Omnipresence is not what it used to be.

When my Mrs cannot drop us at the Turf, we always park at the Tennis Club carpark just off Belvedere Road... its £4 and in 10 years of parking there never had (or heard of) a anything like that.

We park on the land off Albert Street, where the garages are.
£5 and always manned, never any problems

I saw this car park for the first time yesterday and thought I’d give it a go next home match...

I’m often late, sometimes I’ll park in there and they leave shortly after KO

My m8 had his Golf broken into while parked in the car park opposite Queens Park near the Premier Inn... it was when we were playing Liverpool in a cup night match in the 90's... His suit and briefcase were stolen .... he was convinced it was a Liverpool Scalley who was off to court the following week....

I had my car damaged parked next to Queens Park on Queens Park road - looked like someone hit it with a hammer on the rear quarter, can’t be arsed to get it fixed as I plan to drive it into the ground over the next 3-4 years, but it is still annoying.
