Suspect package at Burnley CC avoid the area

*BURNLEY RESIDENTS*

We are currently responding to reports a suspicious package has been found at Burnley Cricket Club on Belvedere Road.

Officers are at the scene and a 100m cordon is currently in place while we investigate. The EOD has been called to assess the package.

We are expecting some disruption in the area and will update you when we can.

At least were all safe from cricketfields fishing Trips for a while..can't accesses his house and currently covered in a tartan blanket drinking bovril in the designated rescue centre.
