Thankfully looks like no serious injuries. Appears to be a some loon randomly trying to stab people.

The RT report say's an eye witness saw 2 males randomly stabbing people and 1 has been arrested. We'll find out eventually just pray nobody is too seriously the mental scar must be hugely damaging in itself.

I saw a better clip on TV where he raised his head and my guess would be that his genes are from East Africa-Sudan, Somalia area but time will tell whether the man is a terrorist or suffering from mental health problems as well as if the former, his origins.

Shame the police couldn’t finish this useless piece of **** off. He’ll be out on the streets after a few years with therapy and meds when the parole board have ticked their boxes and deem he is no longer a danger to the public.

As per usual with these incidents, we get a "Dont be alarmed" statement. It's natural to be alarmed about the spate of knife use and stabbings in public places. Politicians should make some serious attempt to solve the problems by cracking down on knife-carriers or risk getting to the stage where more and more people go out armed for self protection (not something I would advocate).

Definitely some ‘cultural’ Issues with knife crime and also with immigrants. When I was growing up you would have been embarrassed to be caught with a knife even in a fight. You would have been deemed to be wet or a coward. The law needs tightening up. Some poor people doing their ordinary shopping shouldn’t end up being sliced by a feeble a worthless coward with no human values. Anyone caught with a knife on their person in a public space., whether used or not, should be jailed without question.

The video clips all seem to show groups of mainly black people running through the shopping centre, though pretty sure it’s nowt to do with the “ the food court gang malarkey at the weekend .

Now who can argue with that? I think we're all indebted to Blackrod for clearly stating what needed to be said. I'm particulary glad that these lovely children were here today to hear that speech. Not only was it authentic frontier gibberish, it expressed a courage little seen in this day and age.

Mental illness is all too easy to excuse behaviour and criminal behaviour and belittles those who truly suffer from mental illnesses such a paranoid schizophrenia etc. Some excuses being used like "The UK allowed a 14 year old to become radicalised" get bandered about when we need to accept that some people are not mentally ill but just bad buggers.
A minority of the mentally ill harm others- a far bigger number harm themselves and indirectly their families and friends.
The person today will either be a bad bugger or suffering from severe mental illness IMO

Out of interest, how old are you?

I remember the Knife Amnesty in the Mid 90's, also it's documented the old style gangsters (Krays for example) used knives/swords....

Blaming the massive uptake in knife carrying , and it’s associated gang violence and murders is hardly the fault of the Tories . We do need more coppers but they’re not gonna change London’s ( for eg) gang culture .

I was there other weekend stayed at Salford keys bang on it was. Went into piccadilly gardens to greggs Sunday morning. Bouncers on doors he said 3 greggs and only 2 bouncers to cover 3 shops .spice heads robbing on a daily basis. Someone was arested while I was outside. Homeless spice addicts everywhere .
