Really don't understand why we allowed him to go when just recovering form an injury, and with his history.
I wonder whose decision it was?

Club sides can't stop National teams calling up players.

Bloody French!!! Disappointing to hear this. He does seem to be injury prone. At least both Brady and Lennon are fit.

I said before the Everton game Brady should have started, this would have keptJBG out of the international set up as he hadnt played a club game and would have given him 3 further weeks to get stronger. He's not quick at coming back from injuries either.. This will probably be weeks again

The top teams seem to be able to do it.
If we say he's not fit, what's the process?
We say he's unfit.
So: They test him and say fit
So: We appeal and get an independent assessment?
I've no idea how it works.
Who declared and certified Heaton unfit?
Interested to know
(He was subbed against Everton incidentally and didn't complete 90 minutes, so not difficult for us to say that he wasn't physically ready)

Jeff is far better out wide right than JBG and fitter. JBG should not start, used only off the bench for the last 20

But we got 3 points which is more important.

Not really this is a myth. 98 games in 3seasons is hardly injury prone.

Agree, when they're fully fit, and he didn't look great last Saturday and didn't play 90 minutes.

JBG has proven to be far more useful and a better creative asset on the right than Hendrick. I'm a Hendrick fan and I feel he can do a job in any position across the midfield, however I feel he is at his best when being used in his natural position in the centre.

Some absolute BS posted on here. JBG is a quality winger, and perhaps our fastest player. Hendrick is not a winger, he has shown how valuable he is to us in CM not as a winger. JBG is one of our better players.

I don't understand why he went on internationl duty though when seemingly coming back from injury? Heaton knew he wouldn't play for England and had an unfortunate "minor injury". JBG should have had one. It's now BFC who will feel the impact of him being on the treatment table for a period of time.

Can't see SD moving McNeil to accommodate Brady, surely Lennon will play right side if JBG is out?

Dyche seemed to suggest that if Cork missed the Everton game, he'd be back after the international break - which suggests he'll be back and Hendrick will move back to the right.

With games against Leicester and Chelsea coming up, that would actually be my preference even had JBG not got injured.

Brady has played on the right hand side numerous times before. When Arfield played in the 17/18 season Brady used to move over there so Arfield could play on the left.

He's certainly had a poor 12 months with injuries. He can be an efective player on his day but those appear to be few and far between lately.

Imo he should retire from international football and concentrate on his 'far more important' club career.

We have no say in it, considering we deemed him fit enough to play against Everton.

Our medical team will have briefed Iceland's team but ultimately if they want to call him the we can't stand in the way.

He is just to light weight.
He's a squad player at best, nowhere near good enough or fit enough for our starting 11.

He can't be 'nowhere near good enough', when the alternative is only Lennon for right midfield, or Hendrick away from central midfield. There's not really many alternatives.
