What are my chances of getting tickets to Burnley v Man Utd?

Hi all,

My girlfriend and I are travelling over to the UK and Europe in December from Australia and want to catch a home game whilst we're over. Last game at the Turf was probably 20 odd years ago when I was a kid for me! The Utd game is probably the only feasible home game we can make it to.

However, looking at tickets on club website, need 100 loyalty points. I only have 10. The website says you'll be able to buy with 10 loyalty points from 20 December. What are chances of tickets still being available then?

We were planning gwtting train on Friday from London and staying in York and driving to the game on the Saturday and visiting where my mum grew up in Skipton that morning. However if we can't get tickets, I'm not sure whether we'd just scrap visiting north on this trip.

What are my chances?

You've no probs. United aren't a big draw anymore.

:D

It's on TV, and a 7:45pm kick off on a Saturday, so tickets may be in lower demand. In your position, waiting for general sale isn't great.

Get in touch with Darren Bentley (@IdleAndWild on twitter) - he gets stick from some people, but does seem to do his very best to accommodate the overseas clarets fans.
