Good news, but with him and Jay both 31 next year, we need to start looking at a longer term replacement.
Hopefully that will be this summer when we lose Vydra giving whoever it is a season to get upto speed.

But gives us 1 less position to worry about for a season or 2.

Don't think news regards Jeff's contract will be too far away either...

It's the difference between "he has passed" or "he is past".

But he is neither, this is good for both club and player.
