Cant believe there isn't more on this. Fantastic player. Vital to how we play and gets plenty of crucial goals. His record is very good.

Good news - I’m not his greatest fan but can see what he brings to the team (or perhaps more accurately, what we lack when he isn’t there).

His record speaks for itself, I just wish he would get himself involved a little more and more than anything, use his size to his advantage a lot more than he does.

He’s a really key player for us and is sorely missed when he doesn’t play

What’s a concern? Being a Premier League club for four consecutive seasons?

Why would that be a concern?

Having squad and/or adaptability concerns and being a Premier League club for four seasons are not mutually exclusive.

In fact I’d argue that a greater level of adaptability would aid us in extending that stay beyond four, five or six years.

How many teams actually adapt though?

I suppose that depends to what extent.

We’ve Rodriguez and the lesser spotted Vydra in reserve, both of whom would require us to adapt.

Most clubs will suffer if they lose their main striker, though I do think that we are ill equipped to deal with a lengthy spell on the sidelines, for Wood.

Without being able to adapt a little more, I’m not entirely sure where Rodriguez and Vydra will offer the cover needed.

It's great news to see Chris Wood signing again - and should this be 2023, where Ash Barnes was "2022?"

What's also great for the club is that we are rewarding our players, demonstrating that the club has the confidence in the funding to commit to keeping Premier League players with us over the longer term.

But, our three main strikers are now signed up until they are into their early thirties (all over 31 at end of contract)
Where is the plan for the future
When will we see pace added to the front line attack

Not sure tbh, maybe Dyche is planning on sticking with virtually the same team for the next 4 years?

Isn't that how it works - c Ferggie. Manager keeps his squad together until the end of his contract. When he leaves his squad retires.

On the other hand, I'd take Sean Dyche to be a legacy builder.
