I would book flights to Malaga and stay a couple of nights there. Move along the coast to Fuengirola and finish with a couple of nights in Benelmedena.

Easy to do these days with Alpha rooms, booking.com etc

For how long?
A few days / a week / 2 weeks / or longer?
Then there is budget...

I have a similar conundrum Zickov - Solo break somewhere warm.
I've looked into several places.

Croatian Coastline - Flying Solo you lucky devil

Either:
a) Fly to Zagreb. rent a car and drive through the sparsely populated countryside 2hr down to the coastline then explore
b) Fly to a resort on that coastline Pula/Split/Dubrovnik

The Adriatic is such a clear sea. The most clear sea I ever saw. Mostly rocky coastline, and that time of year - warm. And well under 5 hour.

Baku I went there early October was warm then about 25C. Very good value for money. Booked accommodation thru AirBnb. Good restaurants and bars. Interesting sites to visit. English spoken widely. Could be combined with Tbilisi Georgia if you want two weeks. Flight time 5 to 6 hours. Really recommend it.

Well worth going but certainly more than 5 hours. More like 14 flyiing with a total journey time nearer to 20 hours. I am inThailand now in the middle of a six week break.

I am sat drinking a beer in Cyprus and it is warm, 27/28 during the day, and many good places to visit.

BFC is here too and I understand CricketfieldClaret too, although not met him.

As for Winter Sun. Many above mentioned. But best place I have been that ticks all the boxes (5 hours, warm, plenty to see and do) is Israel. Amazing place.

Go to Madeira, though the beer is a bit **** and it's boring as ****. The food is probably overall the best you'll find on the planet!

Shame you have to be about 60+ and into ballroom dancing in your hotel lobby to enjoy the island!

I am off to the footie with the Scots today!

Depends what you like Cricketfields. Plenty of archeology sites.
Not least at the other end of Paphos, just up from the fort and near the car park. Simple entrance, massive site. Super mosaics..

Kourium is another not to far. Amphitheatre a cracker.

Really nice village with cobbled street - Omodos.

We went to Mallorca early March this year. I accept the weather can be iffy at that time of year but we did OK with temperatures in early 20's over half the week. Good time to hire a car and explore the beautiful island when it's quite.
