We won't stay 6th even with a draw, but our EL rivals dropping points would be helpful. ;)

Two great saves there.

De Gea looks like an older Nick Pope.

Sheffield United playing very well.

You have to wonder how Jones has managed to have such a long career at United - must be getting up for a decade.

Decent goal
Sheff U are just so fit - they get numbers where they need them really quickly.
Can’t see Phil Jones not being sent off

We cant stay 6th so better to keep United (Manchester) below us. Ha ha. Quite like Sheff Utd anyway. :)

Sheff u running through United's defence at will.

Sheff Utd will finish top half if they carry on like this, really impressive - this is a 1-0 battering so far

I'm a bit worried as to where Phil Jones will eventually end up now Stoke, West Brom and Sunderland have been relegated...

Hope we don't go down the old dog with "premier league" experience route. No wonder these types of club are always relegated.

Surely VAR should have looked at the foul before the goal?

If they keep playing like this the top 6 is not out of the question....

Lundstram is everywhere again. He’s a great player but everyone knows the system and gives 110%. That manager is doing a cracking job.

Bearing in mind Lundstram is a defender in terms of the premier league fantasy game, he spends more time in the box than most attackers.

If they finish top 6 Wilder's a cert for MOTY surely.

Only watched bits of the first half as was playing pool, but every time I looked at the screen, Man U weren't pressing Sheff U at all and giving them plenty of space to pass to each other.

Looking likely now I'd say, as there's nothing to suggest they'll suddenly drop down the table.

Leicester sell Maguire for 80 million and advance. Man U buy him and go backwards. Is he really that bad? Certainly no better than our two CB's and they have a midfield!!!

When you get to mid November and haven’t lost away from home, frankly, you would expect a team to be top half minimum but anything is possible with that team because they are the best example of a ‘team’ in the league

Am I the only one who thought it was a foul before the cross went in for the goal?

I haven't seen a Man U side so short of ideas for a long time, half of them don't look interested. No desire. Does Fred understand that the idea is to pass to one of your team mates not the opposition.

No, Lawrenson (for one) was adamant it was too. (But it's Man U so I'm not bothered!! :) )

Similar to Keane joining Everton he's struggling to adapt, mind you playing alongside Jones, even VVD would have his work cut out.

Wood breathes on Evans = disallowed.

Mousset crashes into Jones = ok??? Bizarre.

It left me thinking that it’s about the reaction of the players. If Jones had gone and chased the ref I think it would have been given as a foul.

Also very strange when compared with the Palace goal that got ruled out yesterday.

If VAR can’t deliver consistency then what’s the point?

That's what I mean. Many promoted sides have started very well, but then dropped down the table.

Yes, but I'm referring to how well they are playing. I can only assume you've not seen them this season. They've passed the ball around very well, played as a team and look incredibly hard to score against. Football-wise, they look more than good enough to finish top 10.

Man U are fortunate to be only 1-0 down there- thanks to their 'keeper especially. Blades are a lot more cohesive & their players a lot more decisive with or without the ball.
Phil Jones has been a particularly weak link but he's under a lot of pressure there and possibly not getting as much support as ideal from the guy in front of him down the left.
Difficult to see Blades falling out of the top half this season unless they're very unlucky with injuries; difficult to see Man U challenging the top 5/6 teams.
Hope Blades stay in front - had a few bob on them to win at 5/2. As per our great run two seasons ago, the bookies are always assuming "the bubble will burst" and offering very good odds for a form team.

Sheffield United are an extremely well managed side, much like us. They won’t go down so long as wilder is in charge. Top half isn’t unrealistic for them.

It will be interesting to see if Wilder gets overlooked for the big jobs as Dyche has been.

Sheffield United are a very good side in excellent form, thought they were superb against us and are so again today. The hysteria following our defeat to them was ridiculous
