I'm totally with you on that sentiment. My eldest "little" girl is 40 in January - where has all the time gone ?

The next closest thing is that they have given me 3 gorgeous grandchildren.

She's a bit too Hull City for my liking at the moment, luckily we have a home and away 2018 kit waiting for her on our return home,(a gift from her wonderful grandparents) will update the thread when she's dressed in the proper attire!

Congratulations 4:20, she's beautiful,enjoy every moment as she grows. We're just enjoying our first grandchild, he's 20 weeks old, we've already sent him his claret and blue kit.

Congratulations - a new little life - what love , what potential, what responsibility !! Try to enjoy every moment ( even the sleepless bits in the middle of the night !) and photograph lots and get some videos, for those will show the movement and quirkiness plus the sounds and soon a voice which you can look back on and treasure because time will fly by and you will begin to forget which milestones happened and when!!

Also very good for embarrassing them when they get older.!!

congratulations , its one of those "no words can adequately describe " moments. really pleased for you. it is a great journey, and one of the greatest things we can experience as the years pass..

One further point amid the congratulations. You're possibly taught this nowadays but..... remember to cut your Mrs a lot of slack, can be a hard time for some women to readjust amidst the hormonal changes, can lead to problems sometimes if you dont account for that. Hopefully it wont be a factor for you both.

Congratulations, Mum and Dad. Your lives will have changed more than you will ever have thought possible. Everything you do will be determined by the needs of your little one. My view, every little bit is so perfect.

I'm now enjoying my 2 granddaughters - the older one is nearly 3 and has been anticipating Christmas for the past 2 or 3 months.

And, this week, one of my nephews and his wife had twin girls.

So, much to enjoy for all.

Congratulations! I became a dad for the first time in july, its an amazing feeling. Enjoy it as much as you can because it can be tough at times but it's worth it

I understand you are very proud and it is an exciting time but I'm totally against and don't understand for one minute why someone would want to share something so precious and private with a group of people they don't know. there are a lot of weirdos out there. just remember that. I would never ever put a photo of my children on social media never mind on a football website which attracts a lot of spotty teenagers and retired old men. think before you act.
