Have heard that whether you are a Brexiteer or a Remainer, the standard of your accommodation will depend on which way you voted, for this next year.

In an almost 4 year period you have posted 24 times, on average therefore it takes you 2 months to come up with such gems as this. Does your brain hurt ?

Maybe it is responses like yours that cause me to be reluctant to post on here. Is there really any need to check up on my posts ?

The number of your posts is written on the right hand side of the screen. "Checking up" is too strong a word.

Brexiteers should be banned from travelling abroad and have their passports removed seeing as they hate the outside world so much. You'd think they'd want to spend their money in our economy.

Yes, it will be great watching Spain die a slow death with no British tourists to prop it up.

Sincere apologies if I offended you, when you post you don't get the tone as you do when you speak. It is how I speak with my friends etc but then it is face to face with a smile.
Anyway at least you got your post tally up and feel free to have a sarky comment at me I wont be offended .

Going abroad simply won't be possible after Brexit.
Britain will be closed down and you'll all die of hunger.

Obviously not, but the Brit tourists spend around 13 billion a year in Spain alone. It won't be easily replaced.

Not disputing the amount, but where did you get the figure from?
With the collapse of Thomas Cook, quite a few hotels facing bankruptcy, the length of time they’d had to wait to be paid by TC was astounding, I have no idea if it is the industry norm.
If the choice is Mablethorpe or Marbella, it won’t be Lincolnshire that attracts the tourists.
Sometimes wonder if Spain would be better off without a certain section of the British tourist market, especially when you see videos posted on the internet of drunken people in the middle of the afternoon being transported back to their hotels on mobility scooters.

We are seeing this as a positive. The queue for non-EU is far shorter than the EU one.

I just googled the amount.
Obviously the tourist industry keeps changing, the all inclusive hotels are killing a lot of places but hotel owners used to welcome gangs of lads as they were much freer with their money than families.
Don't worry about the British holiday scene, it's booming. Especially the caravan and camping side.

Most of the people who go on holiday abroad will be able to afford a little extra cost, it’ll be the additional time spent in airports that is likely to annoy people the most.

Don’t worry about Spain, China, India & the wider Europe are starting to grow & are expected at a steady pace, I live south between Marbella & Gibraltar & the property buyers are Scandinavians, French, Belgium & South American. The UK buyers have been steadily falling to record lows. As for lads holidays try taking you’re shirts of in the streets & unsocial behaviour will get you a large fine & a size 11 boot up the arse in Marbella etc.

Nice bit of fishing (assuming you're after a catch). If not what the hell are you on about? Tomorrow: how your vote isn't really secret.

Why will there be additional time in airports? The 3-hour check-in for USA is for security reasons, not for EU citizenship reasons.

It is now. And it's gonna be party time in the new year. Just a thought though, what are all those unemployed clowns who have been camped outside Westminster going to do with all those foreign flags they've been holding, it'll be a long time off bonfire night?

When my plane lands back in the UK and I get off looking resplendent in my union jack shorts and Engeeerland t shirt I think how lucky I am to live in this green and pleasant land and not scorched and hot like where I have been, we should charge them for our CO2 we just get wetter they get the sunshine, it's not fair, get that in the Brexit trade talks Johno.

Imagine if the Brits stopped coming to Spain altogether.
The Spanish could market it as "Brit-Free" Holidays, tourists from all the world would flock there and boost the Spanish economy through the roof.

I have emailed Boris with the suggestion of a £100 tariff for any Brit holidaying in Spain.
He could revive the seaside towns left to crumble over here with the 12 billion a year pot.
Going down as the best PM the country has ever had.

Brilliant idea but why not just ban any Brit from holidaying in Spain so they spend their money inside the UK?

When I travel to places like the US, Canada, Australia, etc I (and everyone else) spend time having my fingerprints taken, answering questions about what I'm doing there, sometimes having to show proof of a return flight, etc. Unsurprisingly, this makes it slower for everyone to get through and the queues build up. (Plus the time spent getting an ESTA/visa in advance.)
On the other hand when I travel to the EU I show them my passport and they wave me through.
Now it may be that we'll agree a deal that maintains something like the latter (although of course we'd be expected to reciprocate and some may not be happy about that loss of control) but no-one knows.

But we aren't talking about visiting the USA, Canada or Australia, are we. We're talking about visiting Europe, and European countries don't fingerprint on arrival. Americans don't get their fingerprints taken on arrival in the EU, Schengen area or not; why would we? Obviously if the EU decides to play very silly beggars, and introduce draconian rules that apply only to the UK and not to the rest of the world, then we might suffer; but I don't think that's really likely - do you?
