Had our warning. These want it for more. No effort or urgency and obviously pace. This is shocking.

Our best crosser is playing on the wrong wing. And i doubt we have strung 5 passes together.

Same again: Wesley is being marked by both CB’s, Grelish is dropping into midfield and with that overload overrunning Westwood and Cork.

Either we put three in there or we ask Tarks to step up and follow Grelish.

He's struggling to keep us stationery. We're moving backwards.

Theyve three at back cause they know how we play. We never change. Yet theyve got three huge centre halves in to counter our hoofs.

Villa had 6 players within 20 yards of our goal when grealish smashed that in, Attacking with intent. We are clueless

Its true. Im behind the players every game. But im a realist. We are stationary. We are lacking urgency. And we have no creativity or ambition on the field.

You know its bad when even Barnes isnt fighting.

I believe Dyche is the man. And booing him and the players at half time isn acceptable. Mee and Tarks were fuming.

But who knows maybe the wake up call they need.

This stat says it all again. People excused it against Everton and United. Brushed it off against Bournemouth. But... Unnaceptable to have ZERO shots against this lot. Who want it more.

It should be three. That VAR decision was another ridiculous one!

We’ve a battle on this season and need to get things back on track bloody quickly!

As bad as it gets. Absolutely woeful. Get Gudmunsson on for Brady and Drinkwater on for Cork. If we could should make 9 subs. Dreadful.

Burnley have had nine shots on target in 6 1/2 matches since the start of December. There's often one team that drops like a stone into the relegation zone...

You really can turn up late at Turf Moor
Burnley 0-2 Aston Villa
Burnley have failed to net in the first half of any of their last nine Premier League matches, since Chris Wood scored in the 44th minute of a 3-0 home win versus West Ham United on 9 November.

Our shots on target stat is broken. Always reads zero.

A fair few leaving at half time too. Can’t say I blame them.

We lump the ball forwards all game until the 9 minutes of injury time. When we want it forward into the box asap we go sideways or back :D Clueless!

We well are getting results and maybe playing a little better people get over them hurdles,

When it is like it is, you dont have to look very far for a excuse not to bother.

Empty seat round me were from people who have better things to do ...not any of the above.

I’d posted on the Man Utd line up thread I’d have rested players with today in mind (I know I wasn’t the only one). That performance today was why. We were a yard slower in speed and in thought. We had no real press and had no energy at all about us. Even in that second half it was more to do with them sitting in than us.
I maybe wrong but villa changed their central midfielders between those two games and that energy showed and gave them a platform to build on.

Dyche reckons it's the best squad hes had with regards to competition.....with that in mind it should be fluid to change players when quick turn around of games .
