Prime Minister, Owen Coyle, holds a Press conference in which he says: " I told you so" when commenting on Burnley FC languishing at the foot of League 2 (4th Division to me and you). #tenyearsahead

Chinese Checkers with the UK run as a Pol Pot colony via 10G electro-convulsive instruction with a figure head aristocracy and a media elite of social ethnic religious and sexual minority groups to simulate the minority rule of the elite and who have papal infallibility status for brooking no argument as to their priority-as-minority group citizens to bang the drum for equality.

1. Mrs brown 's boys are still juvenile.
2. The tories stay in power by blaming all the countries woes on covid notwithstanding that the rest of the EU are doing fine.
3. Boxing is banned in the uk but continues in the US.
4. The next US president is a black woman leading to civil unrest in SEC country after basic gun control is introduced (banning automatics) .
5. Portugal and Argentina win World cups as they are the best at diving.
6. England still can't win a rugby grand slam.
7. Bristol City, Plymouth, Peterborough, Oxford United and Wrexham all get to play in the Premier league for the first time.
8. Mike Ashley still hasn't sold Newcastle.
9. Someone repulsively rich buys one of birmingham City or Southampton or Nottingham forest and they win the league leading to major whingeing by fans of manu Liverpool, arsenal, Chelsea......

1. An infernal one-way system is a status symbol for town because of the maze to get to the centre and by implication a centre worth visiting, the ethos of getting to Sleeping Beauty in other words.

So no to 1., because the harder it is to get there, the better it is to go there.

the new corners filled in can take a tier of ordinary seating on top and the same for the other corners.

Another tier can go on the Bob Lord stand, extending over Harry Potts way.

Likewise the Cricketfield stand could be developed akin to Highbury opposite the clock end, or similar, to bring Turf Moor to 30,000 capacity.

2. If the UK can be downed then anybody can and the rest of the world are having a damn good try, right now, collectively-as ideological war, specifically against the Church of England by all-comers.

China and Russia and Japan and S.Korea and N. Korea and India MIGHT become allies for the purposes of duffing Europe for the creation of United Eurasia, whilst The USA this time might cut their losses being an Atlantic away and on a different path.

3. If they nuke Yellowstone lava lake with a depth-charge nuclear weapon and La Palma too, in return a nuking of the Himalayas.

For next year and to be safe, let's predict what's not going to happen.

Some from 2 years ago have been reasonably accurate in fairness.
What's not going to happen ? Prince William won't ask his uncle Andrew to babysit.

Which bit was reasonably accurate?

Was it the new world war, the decline of Facebook, or us having a new monarch?

Nobody has started. You make a valid point as for some reason I saw it as the year ahead. Don't ask me why.

Have a nice night pal.

Large areas of ice melt
Sea levels rise
Many areas of the world submerge
High temperatures destroy farmland
This all triggers a global famine
Food becomes the new global currency
The Earth ends in multiple nuclear wars

You have to think positively

Hopefully Chinese,Russian,American,British French Israeli, Pakistani, Indian and all other nuclear powered countries who have grandad's like me who love their grandchildren want them to live in a peaceful world would also want their grandchildren to live in peace without the threat of sad old fart politicians threatening them , not a lot to ask for or to predict that children will not live in fear .

1..More evidence of climate change; flooding droughts, etc.
2. More promises from countries on efforts to eliminate climate
3. No real evidence of countries changing their ways when it comes to climate change.
4. We will win FA cup

There will be a nuclear world war, which kills all living things apart from cockroaches, crocodiles and Keith Richards.

Positives will be hover cars and triangular sliding doors. Negatives will be artificial intelligence getting dangerously intelligent and probably someone messing about on the internet causing a nuclear accident or some such. In fact the internet, or rather it’s users, could cause no end of further unforeseen problems.

By the end of the decade..

People will live under perpetual surviellance with no privacy.
Air travel only for the elite.
Meat eating only for the elite.
People will eat crunchy insect bars.
You will own nothing.
People will have no savings just a monthly allowance.
There will be a fake alien invasion or event and the stupid sheep will believe it.
The Western world will be like the third world.
Burnley will finish their last postponed prem game.
This thread will still be here. :geek:

The traditional Sunday Roast becomes a Nut Roast, The Big Mac made entirely from lentils rivals Gregg's veggie sausage rolls, British dairy farmers seen only on BBC Countryfile as consumers switch to nut based milks, legislation introduced to ensure 50% of all MP's are women, Britain intensifies carbon emissions programme following another summer of forest fires, an end to football club sponsorship by gambling companies, 4 day Test matches against all bar Australia and India and the Grand National scrapped.

And your bedwetting to continue for another ten years ? ;)

Don't be so frightened, life's not all that bad.

Less certain, but even better, no monarchy at all.
