Tbf no....most of the utd fans buggered off way before the final whistle.
Tbh your correct.
No - 74,867 saw us beat Everton at Goodison Park in December 1960
Beat me to it CT but then again I've been asleep! I know you've waited as long as me for.that result so you must be 'buzzing'. Think that's the correct term.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 2:23 amNo - 74,867 saw us beat Everton at Goodison Park in December 1960
I don't think buzzing quite cuts it. I haven't had too much sleep and I feel like an emotional wreck. Can't begin to tell you how I felt when that final whistle blew.Silkyskills1 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 9:11 amBeat me to it CT but then again I've been asleep! How did you feel when they “scored”? I was really worried. I was following the game on FotMob. It just came up “Goal, VAR check” I thought here we go again.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 9:24 amI don't think buzzing quite cuts it. There wasn't a VAR check though was there? Hadn't Moss already given the free kick? To be honest though, when he pointed I did think he was pointing to the centre circle but he was indicating a free kick.RammyClaret61 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 9:53 amHow did you feel when they “scored”? Yes definitely a VAR Check and they announced it over the tannoy and on the board.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 9:57 amThere wasn't a VAR check though was there? We wont lose it this time!'RammyClaret61 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 9:53 amHow did you feel when they “scored”? I was really worried. I was following the game on FotMob. I was there that day and I remember that by about 1-30pm the ground was packed and that kids, a bit younger than me, were being passed, on shoulders, down to the front and over the wall. Also, it was often the practice to lift small children over the turnstile,so there may have been a few more on.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 2:23 amNo - 74,867 saw us beat Everton at Goodison Park in December 1960
Needed a few brandies to send me off to sleep. Then woke up and watched the goals on my tablet again.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 9:24 amI don't think buzzing quite cuts it. Whatever they announced over the tannoy and showed on the board, Moss had blown and was pointing for the free kick so no idea how there could be a VAR check.cricketfieldclarets wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 10:00 amYes definitely a VAR Check and they announced it over the tannoy and on the board.
You could see him mouthing it before Nick took the free kick.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 11:06 amWhatever they announced over the tannoy and showed on the board, Moss had blown and was pointing for the free kick so no idea how there could be a VAR check.
