I watched the game and the Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson got away with handling a blatant back-pass
They were not penalised by Kevin Friend after he picked up Andrew Robertson's bloody blatant back pass,
every single Southampton player appealed for the obvious back-pass but Nothing was given, VAR didn't even check it, about 30 seconds later Liverpool got a corner even though the ball clearly come off Salah. Big club LiVARpool got away with a few today.

VAR wouldn’t be checking for a back pass in any case.

Either his eyesight is shot or he’s a biased prick, I can’t decide which it is...

Does any referee ever bother with the back pass law now?

It looked a backpass
Replay showed a poke back but still could have been given

It would have made the game more interesting, can’t understand why these awful refs give the big teams favours, does my head in, pure cheating

They should do, this was the most blatant one I’ve seen in quite a while!

I haven't seen it, but it has to be a 'deliberate' back pass. Leaves loads of room for refs to ignore it.

Always down to interpretation - would think there are more not given that should be rather than the other way round.

We scored a paul cook/glen little free kick because of it. Can't recall us letting one in?

Have they done away with the 6 second rule for GK's holding onto the ball... quite often it seems some keepers (including ours) hold onto the ball for a lot longer .......

I haven't read all the posts but presumably your talking about the Robertson incident. I did wonder if as he (Robertson) kicked it back towards Alison he was actually trying to flick it off the attackers leg for it to go out for a goal kick.

Got to love the Liverpool haters jumping all over it yet failing to mention the absolute stonewall penalty not given for them for the rugby tackle by Shane Long on Firminho.
Friend is useless and strangely even VAR didn't give it (the penalty) despite every VAR decision going in Liverpool's favour according to some.
Maybe time to just admit they are a phenomenal team and deservedly running away with the league.

Obstruction seems to have been consigned to history also.

No such offence as obstruction - hasn't been for a number of years.

Two clear pens in the game - one for each side. Quite how on earth Simon Hooper on VAR gave neither I have no idea. Then I realised it was Simon Hooper.
