Yes unfortunately one of the worst offenders in the Premier League for diving, squealing and being over dramatic when tackled, cheating and petulance are in town.
Watching them at Bournemouth recently highlighted what a frustrating and annoying team they are to play against. Gueundouzi must be one of the most obnoxious players in the league at the moment.
I just hope we can finally get one over them tomorrow and watch their tears flow

I used to like Arsenal in the Berkamp, Viera, Petit, Wright, Seaman era: they were good to watch and played the game as it should be played. Now, I really can't stand them, I know it is partly because of our PL experiences against them but there is something that is just so dislikable about them.

Just wait until they experience tackles from Tarks, Mee and in particular, if playing, Bardsley.
Squeal like a pig, boy.

Watching on TV in recent weeks I will complement Everton in that the diving has reduced significantly since Silva left, noticable from match one when Duncan Disorderly was in charge, I even saw Richarlison trying to stay on his feet yesterday and that must be a first!
However on the flip side Chelsea seem to have recruited Tom Daly and Dame Sybill Thorndyke as diving and drama coaches in recent weeks...look forward (if that is the right expression) to seeing Arsenal this afternoon

Let's hope they don't get too many yellow and red cards with less fouls committed.

Anyone notice how much Mikel Arteta looks like Captain Black from the old Captain Scarlet series:
Maybe they'll be trying a bit of earth invasion while they're here as well.

Agree about Chelsea.
Interesting what you say about Everton because they were the victims yesterday from Watford by having a man sent off due to an exaggerated reaction from a tackle.
It just seems to be getting worse this drama, I first noticed against Man City at home that even when a good strong tackle was successful several of their players were initially pretending they were hurt to try and influence the ref into thinking we were over physical.

Watford players all over the ref as well, it was a disgrace.

Never liked Arsenal but do quite like Spurs. Looking forward to the usual chants of ‘get on with it I’m paying for this ‘ whilst they are writhing around in agony for a few minutes before making a miraculous recovery.

Taken from BBC...
..... Burnley entered this game on the back of league victories over Leicester and Manchester United, and will wonder how they did not make it three in a row.
In the opening stages, they looked in danger of being overwhelmed, but gradually outfought a Gunners side who were rarely without a player complaining, limping, or rolling around on the floor.......

Well spotted those men, at least it's not just sour grapes from us.

Perhaps Daly and Dame Sybill have been at the Emirates as well!

They did what was expected. The BBC article made me chuckle. It’s so obvious it’s cringeworthy and it would be remiss not to report it now.

Football fans questions how Burnley fans watched the Clarets style every week--personally I would not be happy watching that soft, cheating rubbish regularly

Shame there were no reds.
Their fans are a buch of soft gets too. The messagfeboard is full of how dirty Burnley were. I don't think any of them have quite complained about David Luis not getting a free kick when someone came so close to touching him that he nearly reached the front row of the Bob Lord, but they came close.
One thing is clear. Arsenal fans, virtually 100%, are convinced that the reason most of their team spent most of the match crying their eyes out, is because they are soft as a 2 year old on a bad day. At least, they refuse to believe there's a cheat in the side, let alone a full set; so they must believe they are genuinely hurt every time they claim to be hurt.
The reason for all the injuries is clear. Arteta has blamed the pitch for Arsenal not winning, because it hadn't been watered. Clerly the ground was so hard that every time they fell over, they hurt their little arms and legs and needed to have a little cry and have it kissed better.
Play was held up 9 times during the match, and only twice did they need the trainer. No Burnley player needed to hold up play, not even Ben Mee with a boot to the face. If that had happened to an Arsenal "man", he would still have been screaming now.

Arsenal have no gratitude - we kept the grass long to cushion them when they fell over ... a lot ... dramatically.
Also, some of their players wore gloves - quite reprehensible

Mee made a strong point when he got straight up after a boot to the face. Arsenal were disgraceful today - a horrible side. If I was Arteta I wouldn’t be standing for the antics they displayed today.

just for balance, not seen a single Arsenal fan on AFTV say we were dirty and every single one of them said it was a fair scoreline. They had great praise for Lowton too

The site I was looking at was Arsenal Mania. Take a look at pages 50-52 of their match thread for a look at really one-eyed bigotry.

I liked that moment in the first half when Tarks towered over a prone Arsenal player. I'd give anything to know exactly what he said to him...
Not difficult to guess the gist of it, one suspects.
